Dream Theater "Instrumedley" - (Bass Cover)
É com imenso gosto que partilho convosco este cover. Foi um grande desafio que abracei porque esta música, esta banda, e sobretudo, este baixista (Jonh Myung) de forma alguma passa despercebido. Consoante fui trabalhando neste cover, apercebi-me que além de haver poucas pessoas a fazê-lo, não existe ainda, muitas informações em termos de partituras e até tablaturas livres, o que sem dúvida, dificultou ainda mais a tarefa.
Apesar de me ter apoiado na transcrição do link que está em baixo, devido aos muitos erros que lá estão, só com o apoio do ouvido é que foi possível chegar a este resultado. Por isso, no futuro certamente publicarei um tutorial para ajudar todos os homens e todas as mulheres do BAIXO a interpretar este tema fantástico e imensamente desafiante.

It is with great pleasure that I share this cover with you. It was a great challenge that I embraced because this song, this band, and above all, this bassist (Jonh Myung) in no way goes unnoticed. As I worked on this cover, I realized that in addition to having few people to do it, there is not yet much information in terms of scores and even free tablatures, which undoubtedly made the task even more difficult.

For many years I wondered what "effect"JM used in "Live at Budokan" concert and lo and behold, tone was the bass. Unless you figured it out Lol!

Well done. For any bassist to attempt most of Sensei John Myungs' virtuosity is brave, but to choose this particular medley is beyond the scope of most. But you nailed it sir! Well done. Personally, I would've liked a tad more gain on the bass, but I'm a biased bassist.😁👍
