I want to choose buy me a coffee cause it doesn't need a lot of work to put on but donations will do more than enough along with memberships. But the thing which gave me a lot of love is that they only take 5% of my earnings unlike Patreon taking 8-12%. But the problem is that I want to use PayPal cause it is available to my country but Idk if stripe is available in my country as well but that's the only thing. Idk it's just Kofi is like Patreon but better but Buy Me a Coffee is something I will pick cause I want donations and memberships. Edit: this is because I do freelancing for design and commissions for art so adding more stress can be hard on me.
I've been wondering for days the differences between patreon and Ko-Fi and finally thanks to your video I understood that Ko-Fi is the best solution for me. Thank you very much.
I don't recommend it. I tried it, and they keep your donations for a week or more. I'm sure patreon is similar. They probably make interest on your money which is why they sit on it, and to add insult, they take a commission which they won't share with you. Which is why I think the best method is to have an address to your preferred payment (zelle, paypal, etc) to receive donations immediately and cut off the middle man for good. What are they offering you (other than monthly subscriptions) that you cannot do yourself? Ask self, would you rather have the money right away, or wait and possibly have complications in getting your funds? I'm cutting off these blood suckers off my channels.
Hi, which ones allow to directly deposit into my bank account? And do my clients need to have accts in these sites to send me money, or could they just pay without making an account?
Buy me a coffee does in fact offer membership tiers, with the ability to offer different benefits based on the tier. Very much like patreon memberships.
ko-fi is annoying, where in Patreon & BMAC you can schedule uploads. Ko-fi will only allow you to do that if you give them 5% of your tips/donations. Also you can't add a post to multiple tiers whereas Patreon & BMAC can be done so easily!
I literally didn’t know buy me a coffee and Ko-fi we’re different platforms. This was very helpful.

Does Kofi or Patreon allow NSFW drawings? I still don't know what if the best option in that regard
If i'm not mistaken, the Patreon allows it
Kofi does, you just have to edit your page and tag NSFW but they do say not all will be accepted....
