fr bro, I got goosepumps, I still do but for the first time it was amazing, especially the move when he flies to the sky and breathes fire lightning down, then breathes it into the sky and then on the ground again
I saw him in the release trailer for the dlc and from that point all I wanted was to fight him. I went in almost completely blind. That phase transition was the most epic thing I’d ever witnessed in a game
I'm 42 years old. Started gaming on Nintendo when I was a young boy. Bayle was the hardest boss of any videogame I ever fought to date. I beat him last night. My hands were shaking after winning.
The build up to this dude was so awesome, like going through the mountain zone and the atmosphere slowly changing and the storm intensifying and the music slowly becoming quieter, and seeing dozens of slaughtered dragons, only to find this mfer. As soon as I saw him I knew he was going to be my new favorite elden ring boss, but as soon as that second phase hit, he became my favorite bossfight over every game I've ever played. I wasn't angry whenever I died because it meant I got to go through the coolest fight ever again. His lore is sick too, he fought Placidusax, putting him into a crippled state (when we fight him) ripping off 3 of his heads (2 of which are still clamped onto Bayles neck during our fight), but not without Placidusax fighting back and tearing off Bayle's Wings and his left leg, Bayle then fled and started cannibalizing other dragons in the land of shadow to regain his power.
sorry for being a nerd emoji but, bayle only took 2, since we can see a talisman of placi having 4 heads, meaning he lost one on his way of becoming dragonlord, so bayle fought a 4 headed placidusax
I can’t believe nobody is talking about how unfathomably incredible Bayle’s music is. It feels so powerful and intense; like you’re fighting the root of evil itself for the sake of the world. So badass.
Yeah, I know what you mean. It's my favorite Elden Ring OST and honestly one of my favorite pieces of music ever. I'm not sure how they managed to make it sound so ominous and heroic at the same time, but it's beyond exhilarating.
Dude that pure sense of helplessness when you see him transform into his second phase is so chilling. You’re genuinely just like, “it’s so incredibly over.”
Mate your reaction to this fight was almost identical to mine! At least the parts expressing total dread, shock, awe, reverence and the cackling laughter after being obliterated by his aweesome phase 2 transition where he grows wings! I mean how can you not be awestruck by the magnitude of that amazing attack?!? OK it's not completely identical to my reaction, I'm still dying to him after about 40 attempts and haven't come close to beating him yet but I'm still loving the boss fight. He's just so badass.
Fighting him gave me that midir from dark souls 3 nostalgia, and honestly everytime I died to him, I was fine with it cause it meant I got to experience the fight and phases again lmfao
Honestly, I think this game could benefit from a system where you can fight bosses again without doing ng+. iirc sekiro had a version of this that was implemented pretty well. I just want to fight bayle over and over again.
there's people already posting videos of the final boss...if you don't want spoilers about dlc, everyone knows to avoid the internet for awhile. that includes youtube.
Top 3 shittiest boss in the dlc right after the Sunflower and the Pussyknight. Endless strings of combo of unreactable AoE terribly telegraphed attacks plus constant movement, that wacks camera ofcourse. Oh and Radahn's style flashbangs in second phase. The only way to beat this dragon shaped mountain of excrements is to memorize timings of each his attack by heart and be ready for longest and most boring dragon fight ever.
This is satire right? Bayle isn't that hard. I had more problems with fucking gaius and I killed the sunflower in one try. This honestly sounds like a skill issue.
@@AnsbachthePureblood "sKILl IsSuE"... It's pretty ironic to accuse someone at being bad, while admitting having problems with the second easiest boss in DLC. He has literally only one broken attack, which really easy to nullify with deflecting hardtear or Raptor of the mist aow. Everything else is well telegraphed and he has a lot of punish windows for charged R2. And how is memorizing timings for all Bayle's attacks and making small amount of mistakes enough to beat him at rl150 stb 8 is a skill issue anyway? If you L2 spammed Bayle or used summons, you're not the one to talk, bro.
@@noctrk161 So you're saying that the boss that has a broken attack is easier than the boss that works exactly as it's supposed to? That's very flawed logic in my opinion. Honestly, if you struggled with the sunflower enough to put it above the literal broken boss, I have no idea what to tell you other than skill issue. Perhaps you cheesed gaius, and that's why you didn't have an issue, but I'm not sure.
@@AnsbachthePureblood Git gud at reading first. I said that the broken attack, that's easy to avoid with deflecting hardtear and various Ashes of War. And with that charge attack settled, Gaius is pretty easy. No need for cheesing at all, unless you're just that bad at soulslikes. The Sunflower has smallest windows for punishing, annoying AoE attacks of all other bosses, also it runs around a lot like Bayle and the Orphan of Kos wannabe. You can't even trade with it, since it lifts it's head after attacking almost immidietly. The only windows for charged R2 is after his grab attack and his light explosion attacks at phase 3. Anyone who has beaten it without overleveling and cheesing, would agree that the Sunflower is the new Bed of Chaos in terms of being annoying minus the long runback, ofcourse.
@@noctrk161 So you're saying that you can deal with gaius's charge with a specific crystal tear or certain ashes of war, but you are also completely ignoring long ranged options for the sunflower? If you need to have specific things to counteract something on one boss, then I don't see why you can't have it for all of them. Literally every stat has long ranged options, and with range you can hit the flower very easily. You don't even really need it considering I didn't use range, and he's weak to fire, sitting in a pool of water, so lightnings an option, obviously you can use physical, and you get two free crits during the fight not including the last due to that being the death of the boss. I really can't see any possibility for you to actually believe that gaius is easier than sunflower and continuously trying to tell me that I'm the bad one isn't helping you here.
I wish I could see his phase 2 transition for the first time again. The damn coolest shit I ever did see
hell yea, me too man

Doomguy lost pet #3. Note: He rips and tear alot.
The sound effects are CRAZY lmao😂😂
Christ, imagine fighting bayle in his prime 💀
Could you imagine the fight between him and placidusax? Shit would be legendary. I wonder if there's anybody who modded that.
CURSE YOU BAYLE
I wish my friends played. Me and ol Igor gave him the wallop just fine though.
Igor do be putting in the work, and talking that trash lol
hizzi: "he does the tigrex spin"
edit: bro did the rathalos around the world special
he really do be spinning, and hitting it in reverse lol
This fight gave me Mh Black Dragon vibes. Like in Mh they would definitely make bayle a siege/raid style boss like Fatalis, Alatreon and Safi
Monster Hunter Music Vibe, Aye
What tf were these guys on when composing Baylee’s ost
Fought him good fight 9/10
i love his boss music so much
Same
Brother get a better build
Ty for the spoiler
it was in the trailer, calm down buddy lol

Blud, it's been 3 days a lot of time has passed and many posted their vedios about it.
Then don't watch the video. That's pretty obvious.
