You might already know this but all of the spin attacks were definitely still in Hammer's moveset. It's just the way to enter it is more convoluted now.

1080 ti with a good processor - game worked almost perfectly for me on mostly high settings. My sister has a worse card with only 4gb vram and wow the quality was ultra potato. My speculation is that the primary purpose of this beta was to serve as a stress test for the 100 player lobbies. This is one of the few game developers I trust, and I’m sure they’ll have the game better optimized for launch.

Your performance concerns are extremely valid. But world's performance was pretty dogwater on launch too, give it time. The fact they're doing this beta like several months in advance will absolutely jumpstart their advancements.

I'm 42 years old. Started gaming on Nintendo when I was a young boy. Bayle was the hardest boss of any videogame I ever fought to date. I beat him last night. My hands were shaking after winning.

I found this game so incredibly boring in its story but Pokémon designs are pretty good all around and it runs well basically the exact opposite of Scarlet and Violet. In general 9 I basically love very design, storyline, and overall game flow but damn they needed another two years of pear software work for the game I wish it was a bit more stable like arceus then it would have been a 10/10 but gets a 9 from me still the best since gen 5 or Oras but that’s a remake not an actual new plot line per say

Pokemon Sword and Shield is the definition of mid in my opinion. Mid graphics and an ok story and characters as well as decent Pokémon. In terms of story and Pokémon I like gen 9 more
