She said that God wants us all to be rich. True. But, from my understanding in Islam, God’s will for us to be “rich” encompasses many forms, not just material wealth. Some are blessed with wealth in money, while others are rich in health, faith, or good deeds. As Muslims, we believe in qada and qadr (divine decree and predestination), meaning everything happens according to God’s plan and wisdom. These different forms of wealth are tests from Allah. What truly matters is how we seek and attain this wealth, and more importantly, how we use it once we have it. This does not mean that we shouldn’t put in effort toward what we desire. We must put in the effort, and inshallah, we will be blessed either with what we seek or in the way Allah sees best for us. Ultimately, it’s our actions, intentions, and gratitude that define our success in the eyes of Allah.
My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Words like I can get everything I want sounds like a good affirmation but without saying biiznillah, Its dangerous because you don't even think about when Allah tests you by not giving it to you. In the Quran Allah tells us about our negative traits and one of them is that the human being never gets enough. Being wealthy is great indeed but we should not forget that we should always seek the ni'mah of Allah without it being a temptation for us.
