Best of luck with the new rig and business direction, hope it works out for you!
I do have a question though. When you were lowboying your 5 axle setup, how heavy of a machine could you carry before being over on axle weights? Or what were your biggest restrictions weight wise? Not sure if you ever ran into issues crossing state lines or interstate travel. Assume it was a 45-50 trailer.
Any down sides to the Cozad / Murray / Rackley style of trailer versus a standard RGN? I'm in Colorado and never see guys haul with that style of trailer out here, but they have my interest since they are so compact.
    Thank you!

Thank you for the support. In Texas, with a 5axle setup like I had and a 22k lb front, I could legally scale about 88-90k lbs with a routine permit. A lot has to do with empty weight so results may very.
No trailer is perfect and a lot has to do with your customers needs. If you’re moving excavators and dozers all day, a 16 tire loading over the rear will save you a lot of time and effort since you don’t have to disconnect and re connect. Every. Single. Time. Being able to get in and out of jobs easily versus guys with a 4 axle truck and 3-1 trailer will save time and frustration as well. If you’re moving say double drum rollers and smaller stuff, a landoll is best.
