My 6yo with stomach issues has a lot of trouble falling asleep at night. She's been asking to listen to this for weeks. I just noticed you have an MP3 so I downloaded it and burned it onto a CD for her to listen to on repeat. She's so excited, she wants to go to bed early!

That's wonderful to hear. You can expect more of the same in the future, we have a new Fluttershy that's just around the corner for instance and it should be every bit as relaxing as this one.
On a personal note I can recommend your daughter using these headphones (rather costly, but it might make for a great birthday/Xmas gift one day) as they are very gentle on the ears yet don't block out the sound from the alarm clock that much.

Wow...I've just discovered this series and have listened to both completed episodes.
This has restored my faith in the brony fandom. It's been around so long and so many are celebrities in the community and countless others attend conventions and create content. Could it be that there are others who can't do any of this, who can only love the show and its characters, but never get to actually participate? I've always felt as if I'm locked out, all alone and unable to interact with anyone (or who has found attempted interactions disappointing). This is most distressing in a fandom that promises so much and in a medium (Internet) that is supposed to bring everyone together and make everyone a "star." But I love the ponies so much, and they are a bright spot in my otherwise disappointing life. I like to think that if they were real, they would understand.
Are there others in the same position?
Thanks to all of you for creating this wonderful concept. In the end, while it would be wonderful to attend a con or voice act or make a video or meet the creative team behind the show, in the end it's the show itself and the characters that speak to our hearts in a way no "real" person ever could. And right now I really need my ponies. Lonesome? Depressed? In a low place? That's me right now.
I just have a desktop to access these so I can't fall asleep in bed to them, but I look forward to listening to each and every one. This is as close as any of us will ever come to spending time in Equestria with our beloved Ponies. Thank you for answering the call of our hearts.

First of all I'd like to apologise that this message doesn't reach you until now (RUclips appears to have eaten the first message I wrote), I'm recreating it here for you.
I'm the lead writer for this project (although this script was written by Assault Turlte, apart from the lullaby) and I can assure you that the others in the group have been informed of your kind words.
It's not unusual to feel disappointed in one's life every now and then, it happens to almost everyone at some point. For a lot of us the Ponies was a turning point, a catalyst for change. I owe a lot to the fandom and working for this project is in many ways a way to return the favour. Tell me, what do you feel is missing from your life?
We might indeed attend a con in the future, but we're a bit to obscure to do that at the moment. We do like to keep an open dialogue with our fans and you're welcome with any questions or pointers at any time. :)
Also there is an mp3 version in the description of each video. That way you can use it to fall asleep in bed rather than at the desktop. ^^

We were all beginners once and there is no telling how much of an impact your work can have on others. When we started this we didn't really know what we were doing; we just had a plan and went for it; but in the end people loved it. Surely there must be something you could do to help others? In my experience there is no such thing as Zero talent. ;)
I appreciate your kind words, but I don't mean to sound dismissive. Everyone has different abilities, though, and mine lie in other areas. I'm not a writer or an artist like everyone doing fan projects like these are. Granted, I can do voice work, but on the other hand, there's a distinct lack of male voices in My Little Pony, no?
Fluttershy and her singing just makes me relax, not only her singing, but the way she talks and she really has a place that is quiet and peaceful

That moment when you've listened to this 50+ times, go back and watch the show back from season one, hear "A true, true friend" from the season 3 finally and go "WAIT A MINUTE!"
That’s why I like about fluttershy she takes care of all kinds of animals especially humans so sweet and kind and gentle with every living thing around her even her friends.

As my entrance into the realm of ASMR, I couldn't be more pleased. I wanted to listen to the first minute of it to make sure the volume would be right for when I sleep tonight but I quickly became entranced by the homey noises, and even more so by Fluttershy's relaxing voice. It wasn't until about 15 minutes in that I realized I was starting to doze off in the middle of the day and decided to stop myself before I actually fell asleep. I am hoping there will be the same results tonight. Shellah's voice in this is just [s]o absolutely breathtaking that I felt so sad when I had to go right back to my siblings['] whining and complaining that had been there before hand. I adore this already and am sure that the feelings will only continue to strengthen as I use it to fall asleep tonight. I cannot wait for more; Rainbow, Pinkie, Apple, all of the main six really, Derpy for absolutely certain, Vinyl, Lyra, Luna, and more I'm sure have escaped my mind. Truly, I feel so lucky to not have to wait the full year [for another], although... I feel kinda guilty too. Kinda like I'm cheating the sysyem. Haha. Thank you for making this, here's hoping it'll ease my insomnia.

I’ve been struggling with depression and suicidal ideation for the past year along with my anxiety being the highest it’s been. Around this time was also the same time I rediscovered my love for MLP and in June I discovered the PongASMR channel, and listening to these gives me the same feeling my closest friends give me. That being making me feel like I’m loved and matter in this world. Plus Fluttershy is one of my favourite characters most due how much I can connect with her. Anyways to end off I just wanted say Thank You so much of making these and I hope someday that some people will follow in your footsteps and make their own MLP ASMR channel.

Funny story about last night when I listened to this:
Around 20:21 when Fluttershy said: "I'll happily listen if you want to tell me something," I thought to myself: "Ooh! This must be some new ASMR mechanic!" So I started telling Fluttershy some stuff that happened that day (in my head of course. I'm not a lunatic I swear). And a few minutes in I was probably getting a little too into it when I was suddenly interrupted by humming. Which then prompted me to think to myself: "FLUTTERSHY YOU GOOF!!! You're not even listening to me!" As a result of the lateness of the hour, I couldn't stop giggling for the next five minutes. It was great.

We leave that open for interpretation for that very reason. There will be an episode were the listener is defiantly human (Lyra)

This HAS to be one of my personal favorite channels on RUclips. I mean it with all my heart that you all do some of the best ASMR I have ever heard. I know it's embellishing a bit but you deserve it.
My favorite videos are the Fluttershy ASMR's. Rarity's is great too as well. I always look forward to your releases and gladly listen to these whenever I have a really bad day or when I feel terrible. Afterwards I'm back to being happier than Pinkie Pie but I keep my composure.

It's kind of what you get when writing a radio drama, with one part of the dialogue missing. Striking a balance between it sounding natural, and not assuming too many answers from the Listener is a tricky thing.

That anxiety you get when you have to check several times to makes sure your headphones are plugged in because you don’t want your roommate to overhear what you are listening to. Telling him I’m using it to help me go to sleep wouldn’t help me if he found out. Oof

As someone who's a bit 'iffy' with most ASMR, i can happily say that i adore this. Its adorable, well voiced, the ambient sounds are perfect and its got the best pony in it as well. So bravo and i hope this project pumps out more outstanding work in the future.
going above and boyond in all aspects of ASMR, from planning to production, and including an audio download link. this ASMR channel is at least 20% cooler than the majority of other channels.
it has almost been a year since this asmr channel made this master piece and i will not lose hope to see one day a second one come out.
I've just listened to a few of the recorded lines Shellah sent us this week. Part two is going to be even better I feel. :)
Hey, the funny thing is that Fluttershy sounds like Pinkie Pie but that's ironic since in the actual show, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie have the same voice actress!

I have to say this is the best asmr out there in my opinion, ever since I discovered it I listen to it every night and it puts me to sleep EVERY TIME sometimes way before the singing part. It put me to sleep the night before Christmas! Also I love how you added fluttershy breathing or making noises every now and then it really makes me feel like she's next to me. Also what's funny is I never was awake at the part where fluttershy Asks if we're awake, and once I had to get to sleep fast and played the video in the middle to listen to the background noises and when she started speaking I loved it even more! Great work on this I love it.

I was gonna ask what ASMR is, but from a quick google search and some skimming, it's essentially a relaxing feeling you get that also helps to make you fall asleep more quickly right? Or am I missing something?
Other than that, I JUST stumbled upon this video last night while listening to relaxing pony music and I was curious. I thought at first it was gonna be a playlist of soft beats and what-not but I then realized what it actually was.
I'm surprised I actually passed out from this. Fluttershy talking about her day and the dream she had AND her singing along with the ambient sounds in the background just.... soothed me asleep. I knocked out about 25 minutes in and after coming back to this later today, I had no idea that she realized I was actually asleep later on in the video. It's... just wow. It's so unreal. But also kinda awesome. I also love her random groans and hums as she also falls asleep. I fell asleep to best pone... yesh.
I hope you guys do more of this. It was SOOOO good!

To answer your first question: You're pretty much dead on; that's exactly what ASMR is. We (the group) felt that there was a real lack of MLP based ASMR (None actually!) so we decided to change that. This is the result and I'm pleased you liked it so much. :)
We will continue doing this for years. Plenty of ponies to go around.^^

This, for as long as I can remember having listened to it, has helped me rest exceptionally to the one true love of my life and her soothing voice and stories. The very fact that this is so effective in the first place is awesome, but the fact that it works so well that before she even gets to her second story that I’m already out like a LIGHT… It warms my heart! I sincerely hope, if not just for ASMR Fluttershy, that more of ANY MLP ASMR content be released ever by these fine folks.
