Great video! It's a surprise to see herr some unreleased games like Red Ace or Arctic Moves, and PD games like Droid or Quik and Silva, some of my favourites are here! Good job!
ST can scroll really well in right hands. Thank you for creating this series. It was absolutely great fun to watch it trough and I love all the research you've put into it. Really well done. Hopefully many more to come 😊
Always appreciate love for the ST. For me Toki would be my number 1 in this genre, but you mentioned at the start that it's gotta be a gun specifically, so I presume it was off the table.
I didn't know there was a Midnight Resistance port! That looks nice. Didn't know about Droid either, apparently it was originally an ST Format coverdisk game?
All three will most likely make it into the hack and slash, beat em up, or fantasy weapon top 20s. I need to check put the weapons they use again and where I placed them in my list.
Those do not use guns. They are in the action platform hack and slash video coming up. There is also a platform scrolling beat-em up.video and fantasy weapon platform scrolling (that name will change) for games like Ghosts and Goblins and Elvira the arcade game. So many goog games to get through

Toki is in my Fantasy Platfomer series as he spits hair balls and doesn't shoot guns, but YES it is inthe top 20 and top 10 / Top 5 for sure.
Red Ace isn’t one I knew about!! Looks superb too.
Btw Rubicon is a fave of mine. ;)
Metal Slug for the STe … jaw dropping!
Huh, so Red Ace was ported to the Lynx as Power Factor. Learn something new every day. :D
@@GregsGameRoom really. I'll check that out.
What a brilliant video. Another corker lads!!!!! ❤
Arctic Moves … hmm I need to play this on my Mega STe
Yep, still watching lol
@@AtariCrypt 16mhz might make it even better.
@@IntoTheVerticalBlankArctic Moves looks really slow and dull compared to Turrican 2. How on earth did that rank higher?
That Metal Slug looks awesome.

@@Sakanakao yes it wax and now there is an STE (this one) and recently a d Amiga version.

So what do think of Wolfchild and SwitchBlade 1 and 2?

9:12 blissfull
Métal slug IS very beautiful. Do you forget Ivanhoe & Batman the movie? Or you don't consider it in top 20?

Many of these look really good especially After the war, killing game show graphics look bland to me though.
Those are a little bland, but the gameplay makes up for it.
