Loved this! I have several questions. Where did you stay while you were looking for a place? How much is your rent? You said the landlord supplied the furniture. Is that typical in Hungary? Did you have to buy all the kitchen stuff?
Hello! Those are great questions! Because we are church missionaries, the housing is found through local church leadership and stocked with basic supplies such as the kitchen dishes, bedding, etc. The furniture was supplied by the landlord in an agreement with the mission that we are in. We also were supplied with the car. We do pay a set amount each month towards the housing and car. Anything that we choose to buy for the apartment to make ourselves more comfortable is from our own funds and we can either leave it when we leave, or take it with us.
