Spent an hour following the instructions in this video, and now I can finally grind! Although it’s only for like a couple seconds, I made so much progress from this, thank you bro! 🔥
Anyone else notice at 5:54 how while he's explaining the grind, in the background, another version of him is also talking to people in the background? This is proof that if you know how rollerblade, you also know how to transcend time and space.
LMFAOOO thats so funny
I'm fifty years old and i begin to skate. Thanks for this tutorial 👍🔥
Same here. In my 46th year and have decided to take up a new hobby. My first ever session today, more difficult than it looks. Good luck.
Rock on! I'm 43 and just started aggressive inline this summer.
It's some of the best fun I've ever had!
@dannyp7791 I thank God I'm starting at 11! When I reach your age I'll be considered a pro, but good luck on your journey
How are all the 40+ people doing now... Some progression?... I also wnat tot get back to rollerblading 😊😅
Thank you i Have new aggressive roleblads And i can nau grind
Appreciate these beginner-level tutorials 👏👏
Awesome advice Ricardo thanks loads, its a 2024 goal of mine to FINALLY land a grind on my inlines, skated as a teen then dropped it, finally picking it back up at the ripe age of 31 hahaaaa wish me luck and thanks for the awesome vid!
Wonderful progressive way of learning to grind. Thanks Ricardo.
Im 40 and picking up aggressive skating again. Been doing wizard for a year. Helps regain lotsa confidence.
6:45 "That's basically what you kneed to do", that was a clever one
This is the video I needed today. I've *just* started learning this, and you already explained things that I was doing wrong. Thanks! ❤
Same !! All the things I was doing wrong...😅
I love the intro ❤❤❤😂
Your videos motivate me to ride again after 20 years of interruption. 😂
Same man. I’m a week in from 20 years off and let me recommend doing a lot of squats first. Your body will remember what to do but your muscles might not comply when you go to jump on 😂
I second the leg work. Started skating again in 2021. But after 20 years off, I realized so much loss of strength and control in mid-squatted grinds (and even more in jump height) that I needed to do serious work on building back my legs though serious gym exercise. My mind still thought it had "muscle memory", but the body disagrees. To the point that I broke a rib trying to clear a planter box that was suddenly in my way, lol. Broke a wrist after a grind with wheel-bite as well. *Pro tip* Wear atleast a wrist guard on your dominant hand if you work for a living. Meanwhile, enjoy your time back.
Do it! I’m 32 and just started!
Love these tutorials ❤️👍
So helpful!
Gracias
Thanks Ricardo for all you do ✌️
What if the middle cross plate, idk what it’s called but what if it’s not curved down! I have roces m12 ufs and that plate kinda curves up…
Thank you for this!!! I'm about to invest in my very first pair of Aggressive Inline Skates (the Roces M12) and this video is going to help me immensely. I'm still relearning how to inline skate after years of not being on them, but once I get comfortable in them and things then I will progress to my new skates.
Which colorway u got?
Miszou is easiest for me because you can just roll off, if you miss your front foot on a soul and catch your wheels you can trip yourself up.
Nice review though 👊
Miszou is my Fav and easiest too!
wonderful tutorial!! the details are super helpful!! Will be sharinggggggggggggg!!
Boas dicas Lino , apesar do soul grind não ser o meu grind favorito desde o início da minha carreira nos patins ao longo dos anos tenho vindo a gostar e a fazer cada vez melhor dizes aí muita coisa importante 👏👏👏 Parabéns.
Awesome tutorial!! Soul grind and Miszou are easiest ones for me
Very good tutorial, i got the roces dogma punk 2.0's.
I can drop in no problem, i just jumped 6 steps other day. I really need to learn how to grind next. I just need some good shinguards. Which ones do you recommend? Keep up the videos and thank you for your time.
Swear I got Franklin rocking this fit in gta
Miszou was my easiest and most ninja lookin I feel! Many make fun of it for some reason!
Could you make a video of grinding on another type of skate? inline roller skates
You need to purchase aggressive inline skates. Normal roller blades are not suited for grinding.
Lino! Do one of these for topsides ✌
im watching this right now remembering every time ive messed up a very easy soul grind. my skates know how to do the tricks, i dont :/
That shirt from Silvia tho!
The blood stains on the pants over your left knee shows the commitment 😅
i cant seem to do the both feet at the same time just naturally..even when i try there seems im stepping with back foot first.
Great , thank you so much
more please cheers+
you don't feel any pain on your shins muscles at the beginning? u do any exercises to have strength to these movements?
can you do this on urban skates?
Vc já viu umas pessoas adaptando a soul plate em um patins urbano?
What brand are your wheels?
exatly what i need
What Skates do have on this video? Thanks
Yo Ricardo, got any knee pads under the pants?
I always thought Frontside was the easiest. I actually have a hard time locking in my back foot on a soul, especially on anything round. I took a major shin injury on a sharp edge one time, four stitches.
Frontside and soul are both good choices for 1st trick. If you are struggling to lock on round objects it's because you are not getting directly on top of the object. Anyone skating ledges should be wearing kneepads and shin guards.
@@wingdingdmetrius8025 I learned that the hard way!
GRACIAS
The easiest and the one that has wrecked me to the most as well.
Front side and mizu are the easies for me
Im a skateboader buy im going to trancend to aggressive inline street skating
skates model?
USD Aeon
i don't have the right type of roller blades for this
Frontside or mizu I would say..
Soul grind is a lovely trick, but can also be dangerous done wrong. I broke my tailbone doing a soul grind wrong and took me out of the game for almost 3 years
Yea Mizu is easier if u miss ur front foot is already straight 😅
i gotta agree, mizu comes so naturally to me
No mizu is the easiest
I agree 🙂
Tru* mizou
agree
My first trick was mizou... And iam 100% agree
Agreed
Switch Frontside is the easiest for me.
Mizsou is easier and less risky than soul...
Easiest to me is miszou...
...and soul feels totally uncomfy...even Acid soul feels better...
First
Thank you. Hope you enjoyed
Frontsides are the easiest.
What boots u rockin ?
🙏
