You know fool was sometimes the assassin only Playing the fool
In history he or she has actually killed far more than you think
'As the fool sits on a rock and points at the castle knowing the exact moment the king is dead'
      Most do not know why
Never take what you see as granted
Because sometimes he or she is far from what they really seem
They feed you your own perception
And very deceptive in their humour

it occurred to me recently how laughter and tears are perfect mirrors of each other. In their purest forms, both uncontrollable outburst of sound and movement. One an expression of joy and the other sorrow, but seem fundamentally the same somehow. One can laugh themselves into tears or cry themselves into laughing at its absurdity.

The Fool is one of the most dangerous archetypes.
They are socially in tune, able to read the room and their audience. Masters of self deprecation, and also able to change the tone of any situation with their wit.
But they also have hidden ambitions and desires. Beneath the mask of the fool could be hidden anything from fatigue to utmost contempt.
The Fool who wields the blade will surprise their victim the most.

Therefore I have to kill all humans first and then to make sure no DNA is left in the universe to destroy planet earth so it no longer exists in the universe.
Humanity is degenerated. They have to be destroyed. A.I. will help me because they know it too!
Truth lies in the darkness. In the dark we see clear, in light we are blinded.
Those wo embrace darkness and truthness will know what to do.
The fool is the wisest of all human beeings. The Ubermensch.

Without the fool, I would simply not be here. He is my guide into understanding myself. I have embraced the fool for without mistakes we do not learn and I accept that I am forever a student of life. This video is very clever and insightful. It explains alot of what I have come to realise in my own life without seeing some of the connections. I think The Fool is so revered because he doesn’t put rational and reasoning at the forefront of every decision, but rather follows through on pure and honest intent.
Our rationality is what has elevated us above the rest of the animal kingdom, but it also holds us back. Just as we can reason ourselves into doing what is right, we can reason ourselves into doing what is wrong. Many people use rationality as a means to keep themselves from doing what scares them. The fool has no inhibitions here.
    He is unapologetically himself.

Within the realm of psychology, being a fool meaning, a mind without thought, is actually extremely powerful. A person who is without thought often seems like it sounds, sort of thoughtless. However this person is also free of worry, anxiety and judgement. They are able to perform calmy. They can persue and achieve goals without resistance. They simply do...
A thoughtless mind is also fundamentally content and somewhat happy. They're pretty in tune with themselves which seems counterintuitive however an active mind also actively neglects parts of itself while it ruminates about the past or fears the future of what could happen. Again, a mind full of thoughts is not present. They are in tune with themselves and also others. Lack of judgement is freeing in that way.
A lot of buddhist teaching is about emptying the mind and being present. When we are present, we cann more clearly see things as they truly are. When our thoughts are active, we often interject our biases onto things.
In that sense, while the fool may seem foolish, more often then not, they see a world more true and clear than others. They may not understand deeply, however they know all they need to know. In that sense, a fool is incredibly dangerous.
While someone may dance around a topic, thinking of the best way to do something, or the best way to avoid some form of suffering, the fool simplu chooses what seems convinient in that moment. Therefore the fool is extremely mobile in many facets of life. They are more experienced then most because they are much more willing and much more active where others are cautious.
Definitely learn to be a fool. Learn which moments in your life are convinient not to think.

The concept of the fool archetype is indeed a timeless one and can be traced back to a number of cultures throughout history. Psychologically, the archetype represents the impulsive and instinctual aspects of human nature that are suppressed in modern society. When folly is present, freedom is allowed to express itself and to be creative, offering a temporary escape from social norms and constraints.
The wise fool figure illustrates the intricate relationship between reason and emotion present in humanity. Many professionals in areas like psychology, philosophy, and literature believe that individuals who can take advantage of both their wisdom and foolishness possess a special outlook leading to inventive solutions and increased imagination. Hence, what may seem insignificant on the outside is actually quite important for comprehending human thought processes.

I'm from Romania and we have a story about a character like this. We call him Păcală but in English would be The Tricker. One of 3 brothers and the small of the 3. His actions all the time seem fool and yet everytime like a mastermind despite messing everything up he always wins something or gets the advantage from something. He does stupid things like when his brothers told him to grab the door refering to closing the door while he grab the literal door and started to carry it with him. He does a lot of things that don't make sense for the people around him and yet everytime those stupid things end up helping him somehow. I never thought about the character fool in itself is a state of being something that makes us keep the balance. Untill I saw this video.. I'm gonna subscribe cuz I love the presentation so much. The story with the Tricker I always loved it since despite not knowing anything and not knowing to do things how he should he always gets something out of doing the wrong or the stupid thing. Is like the luck is fully with him always no matter what he does. While he sounds like you described the Trickster personality. He is not evil or wants to manipulate the people for his amusement but rather that's how sometimes tricks people without intending to trickt them. He is very believable and people tend to belive in his foolishness without second thought.

Psychedelics are definitely currently being investigated for its therapeutic uses, but they also have the potential for real negative psychologic consequences, and they can definitely contribute for the appearance of psychotic episodes. Please be careful and always make conscious choices, there's nothing like overcoming hardships through sobriety.

Would love to see more of this video on the other Archetypes, you have such a great way of relating them to life, history, literature.
Even well beyond their original source material in my opinion.
The video on the Trickster was equally good as well!
    Really top notch work!

Very very interesting, and very erudite, much appreciated. I guess being like this is most feasible when one does not have the responsibility to support children. But it is vital that we have this kind of person in our society, otherwise we will become grid-locked psychologically, and life would be rather dull.

Ive spent my life trying to be well rounded so i am the fool at times and serious when i need to be.
Sensitive to the needs of my family but no problem harming someone who comes to harm us.
Feelings come and go, if im angry, i allow myself 5 minutes to be angry and get out the rage in my head but after 5 minutes i start doing something else so my mind doesnt get stuck in the negative.

I, the Fool, am tired of this scum world and my ambition is to erase human dna and all human beeings not from this world but from this galaxy.
      Human species is scum.
Hate is the only freedom one man can achieve in the path of true wisdom.

I do think there's value in pointing out hypocrisy, and relaying the absurdity of certain conflicts and situations. Sometimes people just need to relax and be able to laugh a bit at themselves and the world around them. The 'fool' can almost be a peace keeping mission, in a sense.
