I got so physically sick hearing this case for the first time remembering my bullying experiences and how I got thru so much easier compared, but was still left traumatized as heck. I can't even comprehend how this sweet child got through all that. She has some serious balls of steel. I respect her strength and hope her to have such a good life, she deserves a lifelong break for all that bs she experienced.

As someone who was bullied it’s true that when they say “just tell someone” it’s not a full proof solution at all. Good on her for getting help for herself cause clearly like the teachers I had, those teachers clearly didn’t care

I agree. I told the people that I was supposed to tell and nothing happened. The teachers, the counselor, even the principal did absolutely nothing. They kept putting me near my bully until finally my mom told them not to call her if I swung a chair at the girl's head.

Ugh!! I don't want to get into this too much because it hurts my heart as a mum and a Nun. My granddaughter went through bullying last year, thank goodness she reported it and my daughter, and I successfully had the bully expelled from the school. However, there was a clear need for the school to incorporate teacher supervision and reporting of bullying procedures to be readdressed. There were a lot lacking.

as a former international student who was surrounded by kids shipped off by their rich parents for years , the forming of these "societies" is such a real thing and 7 times out of 10 it turns into something destructive or sinister (not as far as this heartbreaking case). the school is most likely not enforcing disciplinary measures in fear of being sued into financial ruin, the host families do not give a single fuck what their students are up to as long as they get paid, and the students themselves feel like adults, living under basically no supervision with a hefty allowance and ignorant to all consequences. the literal wars that were fought amongst the students based off on what region, country or city they were from and what the other society of students from a different country had said about who were so common and normalised that it was scary. environments like these are a breeding ground for bullies. you really see some of the worst of humanity in these schools and my heart breaks for every single victim of bullying at the hands of these sorry excuses of human beings.

One of my friends, her job requires her to continuously go on work trips to different countries, sometimes twice a month, or even 6 times a month if needed. She suffers from heavy back pain because of flying too much (idk how to explain but it basically the pressure of flying and the altitude worsen her back). Till a point when she recently had to go under a surgery on her spine. She is only 28

i moved around a lot because of my mom’s work so i went to a lot of different international schools and it was fun but it got really mentally exhausting. you don’t have time to fully settle anywhere so it’s either i isolate myself and just wait until it’s time to move, or try and settle down however, we end up moving right after i start feeling comfortable so i avoided that approach. but i’ll say it does make you very outgoing and independent

It's annoying when someone says "Just tell someone"
One time I tripped over a Stanley cup that belong to a girl named let's call her I
I's precious little Stanley cup got a one centimeter dent.
    5 minutes later...
GIRL FORMED A WHOLE ALLIANCE THAT YELLED AT ME.
They said "Why'd you do it?"
Like can you trip over something on purpose?!
I told my science teacher and you know what she/he said?
"Write it down and we'll talk about it"
I WROTE A PARAGRAPH AND GAVE IT TO HER.
She said we would talk to the principal
1 month later I have had no contact with the principal
    No talking no NOTHING.
    And I isn't in trouble.

I can only imagine what happened to Helen in China. Was she abused by her parents or neglected. There is absolutely no excuse for the awful things she did. She saw something in this girl that made her want her to suffer..
My daughter was bullied out of school after Covid. She grew taller was sways very outgoing. Everyone was her friend. Her step cousin became a part of her friend group. She didn’t have her dad. He would come and go. Her mother struggled to raise them.
Growing up my stepsister was ten years older than me and was awful to me as soon as I hit my teens. I forgave her after she moved away to an island. She was an addict. Came back an addict with three little girls.
I was married young also had 3 daughters . I chose to help my step sister instead . I’m A God fearing woman.
As our daughters grew into preteens her daughter was acting just like the mother was to me. She managed to make a lot of people hate my daughter. My daughter brought her into her community, friend group. She even had her dad take my step nieces to the father daughter dance..
I feel she envied what we have as a family. Wanted my daughter to suffer. I’m in my 40s but I look very young and I’m super tight with my kids.
Her mom is older and has a jealous nature.. We did everything we could to make these kids feel included..
I had to take my daughter out of school for her own wellbeing and get her help for the anxiety it caused her..
She panicked going into d hill. She went to school since kindergarten with these young girls accept my step niece..
I told everyone of them girls you don’t get to pick and choose my daughter. You’re her friend now or never. Each girl had a very hurt story. One just moved here because she was bullied in her town so badly. Ones mother is missing and her dad is in and out of jail . My nieces father is a literal convict ..
Her friends said I was like everyone’s mom . I had a hard life..
The fact these young people are going to school for education can make life horrible for you is mind blowing.. My daughter missed out on so many things all young people deserve to be a part of.
She’s super funny, talented, beautiful amazing editor. Incredible singer.. It hurts my heart . She feels like school was to painful. We had to get her help and schooling outside public school!!
Sorry so long but this is heartbreaking.. Broken kids do this to others. Hurt people hurt others. I no longer even talk to my stepsister. She takes zero accountability for anything. Her life went left and she can’t stand to see anyone do better. Especially my kids. She chose addiction and a convict father.. Her karma came back to her from when I was a fatherless kid. She made me hate life so much I contemplated suicide.
We decided to pray for them. Live away from them. Not have hate in our hearts . Let God lead us..
So sorry this happened to you .. They got exactly what they deserved.. You win by never showing these evil souls your emotions..❤️

At around the 50 minute mark, it's true that people break at some point. But not everyone reacts the same. Take me for example, the lowest I've gotten, I genuinely didn't care about myself or anyone around me to the point where I was thinking more aggressive even if I didn't act out.
If I get to that point, my mindset is "I don't care what happens to me anymore as long as I get to have some wild fun on my way out" type of thing. Due to that, I have to keep myself busy 😅

Stephanie’s video really hits home for me. I currently live in an area that accepts an astronomical amount of international students and many of the themes she talks about are situations I have actually witnessed firsthand. Obviously nothing as bad as anything in the actual video but damn… nothing on this earth is like the attitude of a rich international student that has never heard the word “no”. It annoys me even more now that I have to deal with a spoiled brat of a cousin that has been sent here as an international student and now lives in my own home 🫠

hey. just wanted to tell to please not use Gulag in any sense. it was horrible part of history for a lot of people in soviet. we don't tell people to go to Auschwitz, right?
I know that this case is extremely irritating, awful and disgusting but thousands of people were victims of Gulag.
there were minors, women, men. some of them were in political opposition, some were just not right ethnicity to soviet like, some were illegal immigrants.
