Not gonna lie, when I clicked on this I didn't realize it was going to be a cEDH video, but actually enjoyed learning a bit about the format. I'd love to see more deck techs :)
I recently added "Enduring Vitality", "Marvin, Murderous Mimic", and Pila-Pala to my Kinnan list to create infinite colored mana. I am curious what you think of this!
Even with no docksides to copy, I'm keeping my clone count at at least 3+, because of how prevalent bowmasters are in my local meta. I run clone effects instead of the drakes because of how effective it has been to use one to not only remove a bowmaster, but get my own at the same time (rather than stealing one which doesn't trigger giving you the army right away.) I did stick Mana Vault in at the moment just to use as a ritual effect since crypt is out. Being able to push a little bit earlier into that first spin or to gsz/ikoria/chord into seedborn muse has always been a huge uptick in win%. Like @cadekeeton7157 I'm actually considering Marvin too. Worst case he ends up being a mana dork, best case he's another Glen Elendra or Spellskite. Also, you forgot to link your list :)
I don't quite know how to ask this question, but is there a reasonable way to play Kinnan at the top end of casual but just shy of cEDH? Like, if cEDH is power level 10, then can this commander work great at a 9? It's just that mana base that makes me shudder... haha If it comes to it, I'm equally fine with just looking at a different commander to fit that bill. Currently I have an Indominus Rex Alpha deck that I've been tuning for a while and I consider it a fairly decent mid power deck with occasional games where it leans into the higher end a little. So I kind of want to build a deck that is designed to be right around that power level 9 mark. JUST shy of cEDH.

You just added mana vault? Its a staple lol, crypt being banned shouldnt mean now you add it, you should have always ran it

I love that people keep repeating this line with zero evidence over and over. You can literally say anything and anyone will believe it.
i mean it was already top 3 or 4 result wise. and 2 of the other top decks did feel the ban more than this deck
