I'm having a ski trip with my family in park city. These canyon side double black trails looked so easy on your video. I tried a few and realized that they are really hard. Great job speeding these runs while shooting videos! I'm definitely going to try Jupiter after the storm.
My 11 year old and I skied that exact same line (Charlie Brown) today. First time on 9990 for both of us. No 360 off the cornice, though. Haha. My son is the kid that I mention in a live stream last year, who skied Jupiter Peak with me as a 10 year old. Love the videos. Stoke!

Dude ... I just discovered your channel and I have been watching it all day! U had solved a lot of my dilemmas on my up coming van build. It's pretty amazing how you "chase the snow" in a RWD Sprinter van. It's one of my dilemmas to settled for a diesel in order to have an AWD or go simple with a RWD gas model that get better mileage. How often had you have to put on chains going to all these resorts in the last 3 winter seasons? Do you regret not getting an AWD considering how much snowy road you had traveled? I love all the ski videos especially the recent one you did at Snow Bird. It brought back lots of memories when I ski-ed there many winters ago. I also reconsidering the ICON pass b'cuz of you. I live in Tahoe and I am spoiled with all the local resorts within 30 minutes from my house .... although Mammoth is my favorite mountain, having grown up skiing there. In any case, thank you so much for the inspiration on the van and your skiing adventures.
hey man thanks for watching! i've only put chains on once so far and it was during the tahoe superstorm where it snowed relentlessly for days. i honestly dont regret not getting an AWD. i couldnt afford it anyways so it wasnt really an option for me. im sure it would be nice to have though. i put on good tires and have a lot of weight over the rear axle which seems to help a lot for extra traction.
What size tires are you running? I recalled you put on KO2 in one of your earlier van-built video but you didn't mention the tires size. Did you have to modify the front fenders? On another note, it doesn't look like we're going to get much snow in Tahoe this year so I will have to wait a bit longer to hit the slopes 😢😢

Looks like Thanksgiving day is a great day to ski. There aren't that many people up there. It's so crazy how everyone knows who you are. You're super cool to people which is awesome. Are you the only one filming you when you ski? Some of the shots I don't see you holding your camera with your camera stick. Just curious. Also how can you afford your lifestyle? Ski by day, work at night? Looks like you have the right idea how to live your best life. Thanks, I really enjoy your videos.
Yeah I do all of the filming/editing myself. Those shots are done with a 360 camera and it removes the pole. I worked in real estate prior which is how I afforded things like the van but I’m 100% RUclips now and earn money through the videos I produce on the channel.

Live in Atlanta and only get to take like 1 trip for like 3 days maybe once a year. What is the best park. Im a East Coast black diamond skier so probably like a comfortable blue out west. What would u recommend. Im used to ice not powder.
Definitely want powder though, ive never skied in it.
if youre looking for terrain parks, breckenridge, mammoth, keystone, park city are all incredible options for that!

Hey Lucas how do you use the bathroom when you stay in your van
I pee in a bottle and then use whatever facilities I can find for other things
I went up Ninety-Nine Ninety on a pow day and my brother convinced me to dip under the line off the lift ….. Out of bounds. A lot of people were hiking up and coming down in that big open bowl that’s out of bounds. I then discovered that many people have actually died there in avalanches. WOW 😯 that was a bad decision on my part. Any idea why Park City doesn’t add that terrain to in bounds? It’s such a cool bowl with rolling hills dropping down into great tree skiing.
thats one of the most dangerous areas in the entire wasatch range dude. someone dies up there every single year. not sure why they dont add it in bounds and patrol it, but its probably so dangerous that they dont want to even deal with it!
Private land. Unobtainable. McDonald's too. Too bad they had to close the gate to Dutches but yeah. Many tragedies up there.
