@@LookAriel Not offended. It seems like the film people ignored that detail about her and her origin. She's supposed to incredibly gifted in the preforming arts especially piano and dancing. She was so gifted Fisk took her out of the special needs school he originally put her in because of her deafness and placed her into a school for the gifted instead. Seems like they are only really interested in the fighting and deaf part of her character and that's a shame. Her incredible skill of photographic reflexes is supposed to be channeled in more than just her fighting. She's supposed to be more than a fighting deaf girl who finds out she was raised by her father's murderer who blamed one of his enemies, so she'd kill him in attempt to avenge her father. I blame it on writing. Not casting.
@@LookAriel Not perhaps. Was and deaf people can dance and the point was for her to be gifted in that area despite her disability. Deaf people can play music and dance. There are plenty of them. It's a thing. Media treating her like she shouldn't be able to just because she's deaf is very condescending of deaf people. They can feel the music and it's vibrations even if they can't hear it. Also girl has photographic reflexes; of course she's not going to be a normal deaf person anymore than Daredevil/Matt Murdock a normal blind person. Being able to learn music and dancing and become skilled in it is very realistic for a deaf person however. Don't over simplify one's character just because they're disabled.

Shame they never gave her a dancing scene or a piano scene. She's supposed to be quite gifted in those areas and love dancing.
