Thank you for including English subtitles. My family is from Calcutta, India and my grandfathers both from Moiyan, Guangdong. Although the Hakka is slightly different from our dialect, it helps me practice and learn 🙏🙏.
My grandfather was from HK, originally from Wuhua. Moved to HK when he was a kid. Studied and worked in HK before moving to Malaysia. Passed away during the WW2 in Malaysia. His younger brother and family moved back to HK in the early 40s. Even if his children are still alive today, they would be around 90 years old. It is a pity we have lost touch and know nothing about our past.
He’s still like the younger brother of our Cantonese stars like Mary Wong Man Li, Ba Yin, Cheung Ying, Cheung Wood Yau, Sun Ma Chai, Ma Siu Ying and many many more...

Je suis hakka de Tahiti, je suis de la 3 EM génération née à Tahiti, heureusement que mes grands parents et mes parents nous parlaient en Hakka , le drapeau chinois était hissé à la maison, interdit de parler autre langue à la maison. Je suis très fier d'être un hakka , je rentre tous les ans à Shenzhen longgang. Notre hameau est toujours là ainsi que notre lieu de culte des ancêtres. Dommage que mon père n'avait pas eu le temps de nous apprendre à écrire le chinois, juste mon nom de famille et mon prénom en hakka.

大馬客家话和香港绝大部份客话同音 當然有少部份會例外视乎佢地祖籍

例如砂州的客家主要是河婆客, 就算是惠陽客主流的沙巴, 也有龍川客的口音, 乃至西馬的KL跟怡保附近的新村, 也住不少梅縣客

早安，香港还有这些鄉村地方我都不知道，以为全部高楼大厦，
阿伯説客話我会听，我妈是客人，不知什么客，姓刘，客家村，空气清新，身体健康，行。
其實香港有很多美麗的郊野公園，有山有水，容易到達。不像一般人想像，以為香港只有石屎森林。
看到片中有圖文說村民移民外國的國家，但缺少日本，其實日本有一家姓曾是1930移民去了橫濱。橫濱市中區翠園中華料理，老闆識講客家話。

老人家与我的记忆是一样的，香港原来是说客家话的，广播都是用客家话。六十年代港英政府规定广府白话为中文首选口语。
