I definitely agree that it would be nice to have more separation with ages - such as child (6-9), tween (10-12), teen (13-15), older teen (16-18) or something like that because I feel like it would make the gameplay more realistic and fun to customize the rooms accordingly 😊

that computer glitch you were talking about... thats been driving me CRAZY omg i ended up deleting the desk and computer and just had a laptop in my sims inventory before i realised about sitting first and then clicking on the computer!! im glad it's not just me whos had that and im not just losing my mind lmao. love this build i always love these brindleton bay homes 🥰
Brindleton Bay is based off New England but this reminds me of Southern Ontario in smaller more rural areas (i'm from Toronto but went out to these areas often) super cozy and nostalgic
Dawn, I love this house so much! I love the front yard. I know it doesn’t leave much backyard space, but it was worth it. The teens closet is perfect! I actually “renovated” my closet as a teen. It was a small closet. I put beads on the door (I’m 32 - so this was back in the day) lol and a seat and I would sit in there and read. I had pictures on the wall. Lol
I agree about the preteens. There is more of a gap than baby’s to toddlers. Though I am excited for the infant stage. I have a 13 and 9 year old so trying to create that stage in the sims is difficult.

hey simlicy! i think maybe you could do like for every world the expansion pack and then base game?? like make houses/community lots with the expansion pack and base game because some people have some expansions packs but not all.

Very good floor plan here. A family would be very comfortable here. The open master bathroom door and the kids' reading alcove are nice touches. Great choice of color too. I'd have probably built the chimney on the left side of the house to improve realism. Overall, a good build.

we definitely need preteens added to the basegame, it's outrageous how our sims go from being 8-11 to being over 15 in a minute. It'd be so good for console players or people who play without mods to have preteens without having to download something.
This would be my dream life stages, with maybe one added between teen and young adult for like 20 years old but I'm not sure what to call it.
Newborn- 1 month old
Infant- 6 months old
Toddler- 2 years old
Little kid- 5 years old
Kid- 8 years old
Preteen- 12 years old
Teen- 16 years old
Young adult- 24 years old
Adult- 30 years old
Middle aged- 45 years old
Senior- 60 years old
Elder- 75 years old
Geriatric- 90 years old

Hello, How did you manage to get the garage door to go all the way to the ground? you seemed to have some tool or editor screen pop up that I dont know how to get. Is that from a mod? (never done one of these before, but figured I would try to learn how to make non-box houses!)
I have to exact same issue with computers! It's too bad too cause I love to clutter up desks quite a bit
The simmer that create pre teen mod now is working with the sims team so maybe an update the future 🤔

random thought. what if there was a makeup skill-building thing in sims 4. like there is a mirror set, and the first time you do it, the sims look bad, but the more you do it, the better they get at it.

I would love preteens! The kids in this game seem very young like 8-9 and the teens are very adultish like 16-18 and I would love an awkward preteen phase. Also idk how you seamlessly add clutter to counter tops. I have to move all the counters in order to use the alt key to add clutter. It’s so annoying.

I just wish they age down the teens a bit. Rn they look 18, I kinda want them to be 16. And maybe the kids from 12 to 9? And yeah, preteens, 13 or 14 yr olds. Makes the sim families more diverse age-wise. Cuz my 2 teen sims look like college juniors.
I absolutely agree with the weird child-teen gap! Like huh? I didn’t know Netflix designed sims 4 teens- they should definitely add preteens too at this point...
