    It’s funny if you think that the Motor city is as American as you get, and here’s the Russian five!
    What a line!

    That second goal by Detroit was incredible. A microcosm of how magnificent the Russian 5 were.

      Absolutely incredible. Those guys were so good, so tough and obviously supremely skilled. Wow that was an amazing shift and goal.

    5:45 The fact that Konstantinov, being in the opinion of many experts the best defender, did not receive a single Noris will be an eternal disgrace to those who award it!

      He most definitely would’ve had a Norris had his career not been cut short

    McCarty was such a competitor. Guy had no fear. Love DMac.

    5:18; I love those FoxBots. Don't feel the same way about the guy behind them, though.

    12:35; And that was Bergevin's only playoff goal with the Wings. He had previously scored a goal with the Blackhawks during the 1987 playoffs, and would score one more the following postseason with the Blues. Ironically, both goals were against the Wings.

    Primeau has been virtually non-existent in these '96 vids. Was he injured?

      Yes, he didn't play in this game or Game 5 vs Colorado.

    • @Tubewings
      @Tubewings 6 лет назад +2

      Yes. In fact, FedEx has been around since 1971 (originally as Federal Express before being shortened to FedEx in 1994).
