Russell Hantz spoke highly negatively about productions manipulation & provided amenities during his expierence on AU Survivor & it's on RUclips.
Maybe you can try get Sandra to speak on the differences between the two different versions.
As an Aussie you better get back on here cos that was awesome. Fills us with such pride you are enjoying our version :) Character development is the key and yeah longer episodes lends itself to that. Once again a great hour of fun!
Too bad Aussie's version is so manipulated by production & lacks integrity. Russell Hantz spoke of the differences of the two versions on a RUclips video. Since then, players who played on both versions or more likely all of them, have it written in their contract to not speak on certain topics or face repercussions.

Second out, that's what, 6 days? However, he seen things that were shady about what was going on with production: From them trying to set him up with a pregame alliance, redoing parts & a whole entire challenge -> resulting in a different tribe winning. Production trying to make him say certain things in the confessionals.
The cast was given daily amenities like: Use of toilets, toilet paper, sun screen, bug spray, fruit & more. Things he said weren't on Survivor USA.
Just from watching both versions, I know that Australian Survivor gets larger portions & number of meals. At least twice the daily rations of rice & beans to USA, who would only get rice. It's very evident by how much more the Americans lose much more weight in less time. It used to be 55 vs 39 days.

Greetings from Cambodia. I'm liking Survivor Australia so much more (so glad to see Sandra and Nina there!) than all the Survivor US episodes I've been binge watching during the Pandemic. I tried watching Survivor 42 and it was irritating the hell out of me until I got more of their individual back stories and started skipping through the the insults by JP during the challenges. I don't need all that. Just turn off the sound and skip to the end to see who got immunity or the reward. And, I agree. No matter what the message, they seem to be more civil with each other in Australia. Thanks for your video.

Australian Survivor is amazing. It’s so chaotic, maybe a little too chaotic at times 😂 would you participate in a US vs AUS season?
I think because theres more airtime of camp time in Australia its more interesting.

If there ever is a US vs AUS vs SA Survivor, I would prefer it's not the American version that hosts. Would prefer either Australian Survivor or South African Survivor host. Of the two, preferably South African Survivor hosts (and I'm Australian). The SA version feels the most like the old school US Survivor approach to the edit.
PS - While theyre not making NZ Survivor anymore, the second season also is good if you can watch it (the first season is a bit dragged out but any hardcore fan would watch it ok just know in advance it's a slow one). I mention NZ Survivor, as I wonder if an international version could incorporate them too into a four tribe format (US vs AUS vs SA vs NZ)

Too bad Sandra can't say what really goes down in AU Survivor. I wouldn't doubt if production learned their lesson from Russell Hantz speaking so negatively about AU Survior's integrity & now have it written in the contract, that players aren't allowed to say certain things or their would be repercussions.
