Just got back today from a week in Rarotonga, the last week of January. 2 small rain showers the entire week, but usually cloud clover at sunset. Days sunny but very very warm. Locals complaining about the heat as well. I flew mainland USA to Tahiti, spent some time there before and after and flew from Tahiti to Rarotonga. So another option to the Honolulu route.
@ probably but for me added another country and place to visit. Plus I fly almost exclusively with United when I can due to my status and they fly to Tahiti. So for me it makes sense and could be another option for others.
About to go to the Cook Islands... and I *did* pay for our hotel (the Pacific Resort) ahead of time with our American Express... and we used our Green - so getting 3x for a hotel stay. ...but good to know ahead of time that the Amex cards are not accepted much. Will definitely depend on Visa.
Thanks for watching. The Air New Zealand was subsidized by cook islands government. They stopped subsidizing and air new Zealand also stopped the direct flight.
Some of your comments are pretty stupid. The things you negatively mentioned on your videos are exactly what makes the island so special! If you want well known brand of hotel then travel to Hawaii or Fiji or Bora Bora . Cook islands is the best

Hey thank you very much for the info. But is it more expensive to via Tahiti?
