My buddy has been running a custom build with a Traxxas selectable rear and lots of overdrive for about 8 months now. Really helps pull through tight corners and reduces backflips on steep climbs.
@@ExocagedRC for what ? I'd like to get a set of those dravtechs for next yr 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 I've got stuff collecting dust 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾lord willing I can hitch a ride with "J" when he goes down to the plex to get an autograph lol happy belated Thanksgiving.
I’m not a huge traxxas guy but I have a bronco trx4 that has been crawled, mudded and lots of trail and still completely stock tires and all. They are a beast out of the box especially when you work the diffs crawling I have climbed some crazy stuff with it. It’s one of mine that I have left alone just to see how far it can be pushed lol
Again, YOU ALWAYS bring the coolest stuff out! Super simple, amazingly effective, ANOTHER awesome build! I wonder how you get any time to sleep??? !!ROCK ON!!
I’d love to see a “limited slip” rear end. I think it would help just like u showed.. except u wouldn’t need the extra servo. But it’s definitely a good idea! If u have ever ran a actual locked front and rear on a real vehicle.. it takes a mile to turn around.. vs running with only one front hub unlocked.. but same principle on the rear. 🤷♂️ but definitely think u r onto something with this also! Great video man!
Damn, those links must've been fun to sort out; I'm fighting with making one just like your S shaped upper link for an AR45 with SOA. I've a strong feeling this thing'll wipe the floor with your UGRC builds.
That's a damn good idea right there ! I got a question completely off topic... What all chassis have a 12° skid or greater ? I know the ugrc dirty south and the ccw reaper. Is there any more out there ?
What’s the reason for the straight axle front and portal axle rear? I’m assuming to keep the front lower than the rear and make steeper climbs. Cool build front to back.
I’ve been thinking of doing something similar but using a front and rear diff lock. What is your opinion on that and why did you choose to use only rear lock instead of both.
I think your the hardest working man in rc. You post non stop, even at 5am
Every darn day!

Damn. I need this in my life.
Cool build with interesting parts combo
Now I know what my next build will be.
Nice wheeling 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks 👍
I got the new shock caps in today

Insanely impressive!!!!!
This is a Hardline killer for sure! Might be able to keep up with us down here is So Cal
Awesome video. Thanks man! Makes me wanna dust off my TRX4 Bronco and play with the unlocking dif option. That's something I've never used much.
This worked way better than I thought
Very impressive so far Joe, interesting to see how it behave with the rear unlocked. Can't wait to see the finished product 👍
Awesome custom build! So much potencial!!!
This looks like an amazing truck to drive! Wish there was a good place around here to use hard-core crawlers, id love to build one.
If that 2.low spur gear/slipper gives you any trouble they offer a locker that works perfectly. Sweet start man!
You can get the brass front diff cover for that axle too
I wonder if you could put cut brakes on the rear axle? It could be useful
Nice build man. I just finished my Hilow a few weeks ago, i have few vids on my channel. Definitely a beast of a chassis!

yeah this rear end is about bombproof

Nice, I like the way the trx4 rear axle worked out. The pro carbon chassis is sold out....bummer.
yeah this is the G10 and I like it too

HardCore Rc makes double bend rear high clearance links for that and I think locked in it would crawl Hopper.
Realy cool 👍
Very cool build!!
Awesome build joe!!!!
Thanks!!
I’m trying this on mine. I have Capera front axles, a stealth X with 16% OD. Currently have capera rears waiting for the TRX4 selectable rear.
I think you’re going to need reverse cut gears to make that work. The Capra and TRX4 axles spin opposite directions
👍😁
Can some one point me in the direction on how to flip the 2low trans like his has to have the over drive to the front?

Hi brilliant video mate looking great 👍👌
Thank you! Cheers!
Do they make vitavon driveshafts for the lmt or can art make some Joe?????
Very nice
U must be takin notes😈
Def need hardcore rc dual bend rear links to get the max clearance and benefits of that chassis
That's a damn good idea right there !

The Nordicrawl Dragon has 16 degrees of angle and the Poizd T3 has a big angle too. Can’t remember how much exactly tho

I can steer the front to clear objects, the rear portal has clearance to not worry about those objects
Yeeees glad I'm not the only one thinking the trx4 selectable axle :) what did you use for the mount for the servo
why not flip the diff lock mount upside down so its not in a position to be broken on a roll over
Needs a little more overdrive in the front. Other then that looks awesome 👌.
Yeah I agree
Looks like a build of "well, had a bunch of mixed matched stuff laying around"
I’ve been thinking of doing something similar but using a front and rear diff lock. What is your opinion on that and why did you choose to use only rear lock instead of both.
that works but the axial axles can turn sharper than the traxxas can
You should’ve done that turn with it locked and unlocked.
True, next time, I just really wanted to see it work
In the interdiction you mentioned the front axal housing was a bronco 10lll housing what does that mean
Very colorful build...😑
Why 2 different axles ?is it so you can lock and unlock the rear ? Does vitivon not offer that on a rear axle ?
What's your usual go to shock oil weight?
What size is the front driveshaft?
How did you get the axles rotation correct?
Axial straight and TRX4 portal spin the same direction
WHere did you get on axle servo mount
1Tenth RC
😱🙂🥰🤩💥💯👍💪👏
Kinda weird....but nice .
I have always said the TRX4 has a poor mans dig in it...
it works
GIve it some high clearance rear lowers.
yeah it can use those
