Taylor gave a total of nearly $55 M to her road crew this past fall, including $100K to the truck drivers for her Eras Tour. It is lesser known that she donates to food pantries in every city she plays.
That turned out to be false. A driver set the record straight and said it was a handwritten note from her saying thank you for everything you do and how much the drivers help her along with a check for $200k. That’s a class act. Be grateful for those who lift you up. Being greedy didn’t get anyone anywhere. She’s very generous; even tipping excessively at the NFL games.
I wasn’t ever a “fan”. I never disliked her, but never found myself seeking her out. Watching reaction channels cover “Look what you made me do” (the ones that broke down the Easter eggs) is what made me seek her out more. So, I’m a newbie Swiftie myself. But, I’m still gobsmacked by just how many songs u already knew and loved but didn’t realize. She seems like the most genuinely nice person ever. Which makes it hard to watch people hate her.
Taylor is such an amazing storyteller to be so young and express so much emotion and the relatability she has with her fans is so heartwarming. Ready for it or out of the woods are really good and a different vibe from this
She's the top global artist of 2023 for a reason. If you base your opinion off what you heard from her when she was 15, or 21, or even 25, you're doing yourself a huge disservice. The hits/singles aren't representative of who she is or her insane talent. I just found you and am REALLY hoping you'll do a shallow dive into Taylor's world, because you won't be sorry. PLEASE react to Don't Blame Me live - it is an otherworldly experience. Taylor's discography is a great place for deep dives but I also highly highly recommend starting with a few live performances. Really enjoyed your reaction, subscribed.
Facts songs like castles crumbling , the moment I knew , come back be here etc is why I’m a swiftie even though I love Taylor’s hits like bad blood and shake it off
We need to send you some more of her discography. The pop hits on the radio are not great but once you get into it, it’s amazing. Her songwriting skills and ways to write a story is like no other.
A couple other people have mentioned Never Grow Up (album: Speak Now) as a similar subject matter. I think you would enjoy checking out Marjorie (album: evermore) written about her maternal grandmother who was an opera singer and Fifteen (album: Fearless) about being that age
This song is from her wildly successful sophomore album 'Fearless' which also had hits like Love Story and You Belong With Me. She recorded this song secretly on days when her mom wasn't in the studio with her and she surprised her mom with this song on Mother's Day.
For newer Taylor, My Tears Ricochet is so good, it’s talking about Scott Borchetta, the guy who discovered her and betrayed her. Never Grow Up is good as well. Clean is great. Tolerate it. So many hahaha
This song is so familiar to my own story. That’s why I love it. Your reaction was so perfect. This song is my song for my mama and daddy. We didn’t need to have a lot, but we had each other… through everything.
Even though I mostly listen to more traditional country music, I really enjoyed Taylor's early music that was released as country. She did (and still does) what country music is supposed to do: tell real stories about life. Back then, I remember some music critic compare her to Bruce Springsteen in that she was giving voice to a generation of people who felt they weren't being listened to. My favorite songs of hers are still, "You Belong With Me", "Our Song", and "Tim McGraw".
I actually think “The Best Day” is a great entry point into Taylor’s writing, and it’s from early in her career, so you can get a sense of the baseline of her brand of storytelling and scene-setting.
Another cool one with her family clips is her song 'The Christmas tree farm'. She was raised there until she was a teen & then they moved to Nashville for her career. It's the cutest song & video. Then you need to check out a live performance of 'Vigilante Shit' or 'Are you ready for it?' from the Eras tour & check out the many faces of Taylor. The video for Bad Blood with Kendrick Lemar is epic too.
I love this song. She’s so clearly grateful for all these things some people take for granted-but they’re things that, just like you said, a whole lot of kids just don’t get. My FAVORITE song… Is probably “Forever Winter”? At least if I’m talking about which song felt like it cracked me open and cradled my heart in gentle hands. In terms of songs that I love to scream-sing along to, it’s “Cruel Summer”… And in terms of performances, “Haunted” from the Speak Now World Tour is my favorite. Trigger warnings for substance abuse and suicidal ideation in “Forever Winter”, though!
Nice Reaction! Like others mention here, Marjorie ( song for her Grandmother ) is a Good One cause is like She's introducing Her family to You and similar the song: Never Grow Up...( Her fathers song ) Warning: She's like a Good gravitational Force of Nature ......sooner or later , Her musical and lyrics experience will take You to a Journey through Her Golden 💛 Heart and at the same time, You'll Discover lost inner places inside Yours.....and then....in your Mirror..........You'll see an inevitable Swiftie ❤
I don’t have any Taylor Swift. Not a fan, though I like a few of her songs. She may be a cousin too, just can’t find the connection yet. Probably won’t. Haven’t done my family tree in a while. Anyways. I have a great Moody Blues song you could react to, if you haven’t reacted to it already. You might want to Google Timothy Leary first though, so you know who he is. I didn’t and wondered all the way through the song. It’s called “Moody Blues - Legend of the Mind (Timothy Leary’s Dead)” It’s a tribute to Ray Thomas, the flute player and sometimes lead singer and tambourine player. It’s filmed at a Castle in Belgium or near Belgium.

Never Grow Up is another great song by her, super mellow and sweet

She was at one point the youngest Grammy AOTY winner with Fearless, a country album! (Beaten by Billie Eilish recently)
Taylor has approximately 500 million fans worldwide
I can never get through this song without crying. It's so beautiful written, telling the stories of her life. ❤
We need to send you some more of her discography. The pop hits on the radio are not great but once you get into it, it’s amazing. Her songwriting skills and ways to write a story is like no other.
Come on really tired of people hating on the pop hits. They are still great. They are hits and streams over a billion.
A couple other people have mentioned Never Grow Up (album: Speak Now) as a similar subject matter.

Taylor donated $4 million to the CMA museum

Clean is my favorite Taylor song and my tears ricochet is probably my favorite track 5

The Long Pond Sessions of “Exile featuring Bon Iver” is just spectacular. Highly recommend that one.
Loved this reaction. ❤
I love how you reacted to this video ❤️! Your reactions are always genuine and heartfelt!! Thank you so much , and take care👍🏻👍🏻❤️
Very pretty, sweet song!!
Taylor has a Christmas song called "Christmas Tree Farm" it also shows more film footage of her childhood.
Sweetest song ever! Great reaction!

I love those songs too. Just because they're singles doesn't mean they're not good.
Ugh yay love taylor reactions
Thank you for reacting to this precious song. Great reaction ❤❤❤

Very good reaction, thank you!
I’m not a swifty but I was before it was a thing lol since she did start on country I saw and met her when she was new and opened up for Brad paisley
I love this song. She’s so clearly grateful for all these things some people take for granted-but they’re things that, just like you said, a whole lot of kids just don’t get.

React to My Tears Ricochet! It's about her label selling her Master Recordings from under her.
Enjoyed ur reaction. New sub here for more Taylor 🤘
If you want more country vibes I would suggest ‘that’s the way I loved you’ for a more new sound maroon is a good song or your on your own kid
