What I said about musicians and bandleaders has nothing whatsoever to do with whether or not I smoke, and I would have said exactly the same thing if I were still smoking. Most musicians don't have to be told that. Smoking when you're not playing is one thing and not a problem, but you don't smoke while your playing, because it's a distraction. I guess you didn't read what I said about Elena sometimes "missing notes", right? She does it several times in this video and missed eight bars ! What kind of cameraman hides Dizzy so completely from view? You smoke during special smoke breaks; if you smoke at all, but smoking when you're being filmed is very bad style indeed.
