Honestly, people have been sleeping on Brad Stevens for a while he's by far getting more out of his guys than anyone would have dared believe. Stevens took a bunch of scrubs and made them the #5 rated defensive team two years ago, last year he took a squad hampered by Isaiah Thomas' defensive liabilities to the 11th best defensive rating and the number1 seed in the East. This year even with the loss of Hayward the Celtics are the number 1 rated team on defense, are the number 1 team in steals, are among the league leaders in rebounds. AND this team has played SIX rookies and 11 new players, having done all this while only having played 16 meaningful games together so far... yeah, he's a MAX contract guy alright.

He should split it with Danny Ainge then for building him a good team to coach. I was kind of disappointed when they got both Hayward and Irving (crazy I know) because I wanted them to build via the draft and only pick up a player if it was someone like LeBron, Durant, Anthony Davis etc.
Turns out the team Ainge built is great. Can only imagine what they will be like adding a 23 pgg all star scorer to there team in Hayward when he is finally healed.

Brian Cheng I think the injury at the beginning of the season was a blessings in disguise because jaylen brown would’ve never got the chance to be a starter and have his number called same goes for tatum it helped develop them to step up and not have to be second to Hayward. nothing would be different. You can't look at a person's ppg and just add a portion to the total score. He'd have to eat out of someone else's shot attempts and make them more efficient to add 10-15 more to the team's total scoring, and right now, Tatum is pretty efficient, although not the scorer Haywards is, also isn't taking as many attempts Hayward would either.

As a Cavs fan, I'm happy to see the Warriors will have a battle this year in the Finals. Hopefully, Boston can stay healthy and give the EC a win.

you can have all the advantages in the world, but if the officials don't buy it, you still lose because they are the ones literally controlling the game. 3 key calls that would have put GS on top. the "block" jaylen had on klay that was just a foul, tatum's travel 7:28, and phantom foul at the crucial last minute (usually refs "play on")

Refs helped them out with 38 FTs tonight. And the Warriors defense is very good, so you cant tell me the Celts are just that good at getting to the line...

I watched the whole game and Irving, Brown and Tatum made this game intense. I'm not a Celtics fan (Spurs Fan) but they did well this season. Brown is so good offensively and defensively.
