The video was animated by former Disney animator, Ken Duncan, of Duncan Studio, and is dedicated to all you parents out there! Parenthood is the best ego-check in the world!

Oddly enough I knew her from a show on the old WB network, Nikki. Loved her in it. The character was sassy kind of a female version of Chandler Bing. Later realized she voiced Megara in Hercules which made sense because Meg was sassy also. Later still I found out she had been, as her tour stated, the Belle of Broadway. Such an immense talent and a naturally hilarious stage presence,
If you ever see Hercules Megara is actually a caricature of Susan.
All I hear is megara. I wish she would sing more as megara! one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard ❤️
Yuni Aniceto yes!!! I just discovered this channel and this song today, and I've already written a parody called "Hebe Doesn't Care", which is Meg and Hercules complaining about their own daughter and Herc's life as a hero. My plan is:
1. to find someone who can animate like heck and then get Susan to do the vocals, along with Roger Bart, the singing voice of Hercules.

2. Find a random guy from my school or church who can sing, borrow some little girl's American Girl doll (preferably with red hair), record the song, then shoot our video as live action.
I've seen some comments saying "Steven doesn't caaaaare". You got to admit that's funny. But srsly tho. No "Hebe doesn't care"? Sure, she currently doesn't exist in Disney's canon world. But she's in several fan art and writing, so come on!! Where my Hercules fans at tho?!

I never thought it could be posible to fall in love with a voice... Susan, for sure you sound like an angel to my ears... Your soft, sweet and lovely voice touches my souls in a very delicate way. she can't she has two very young children and plus she has concerts almost everywhere.
You never know what can happen. I know she does a lot of concerts. Never say Never.
I've never had a career like Susan's. The furthest I got was a theme park in Japan and a degree in performance (my 1st child was born shortly after I graduated). But I so relate to this song and absolutely love the message - at the beginning it sounds little depressed, but then that humble realization of what our children perceive in us becomes a touching tribute to the gift of motherhood. Thank you for this song. I hope to be able to buy the sheet music someday and sing it about my babies.

That started off silly and then got real sweet , real fast. Motherhood is a beautiful thing.
2 years ago I started my professional career performing in the regional premire of Tarzan and Cats. During those shows I met my wonderful husband and just 3 months ago I become a mommy to the sweetest baby boy. I often miss the stage and wonder how my career may have unfolded... But being a mom has changed my view on life and my priorities are all centered around my son. I stumbled upon this song today and that last verse really hit home and brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much!!

I'm not usually an emotional person, and for this song to be able to reach out and bring an autistic person like myself to tears is... wow, I can't really describe it. I never had anything like this and it's just so touching (sincerely hope you receive this comment)

I want to say thank you... Meg is and always will be my favorite Disney female, and even though I'm going to be turning 24 and I get a lot of eye-rolls, I still love Disney. "Home" & "I Won't Say I'm In Love" were my favorite songs, too, and I just about died when I realized it was the same singer. So thank you, for being more accessible that I'd have ever dreamed as a child---that you might read this brightens my day.

I think this is awesome that one can only fully appreciate if you're a mom or parent. So very true about the dichotomy of being a mom and while externally people see the hardship of parenthood, to understand how much it is worth it and exceeds that hardship by what our kids give to us that no one else can. thank you!

I became a fan of you after Hercules and though I didn't get to see you in Galaxy Quest, at least seeing your name there brought me here. What a great song. What a great voice. What a great mom.
