This is, or was a few years ago, the resident band. The Clarinet player is a very skilled musician - He tends to take the lead (there is no trumpet or cornet player so he takes that part as well as his own). The piano player is really something special... You really have to be there to judge for yourself. Magic place and magic music, just get there early. :-)

I've been back to New Orleans 3 times. Fritzel's is mostly why!

I can say proudly that I spent a few hours at Fritzel's. The best spot in the French Quarter.
