The Piccolo grab actually restands on its own when you grab someone from the air, the Krillin rock assist is just to provide hit stun for the follow-up mix

9:29 assists have longer cooldowns but they do the assist animation faster than before.

i feel like this patch is just overall better than the last one, the braindead defensive offensive buttons like perfect attack got nerfed, yes the sparking special cancel is a thing but thats just in sparking, which is already crazy to begin with, i enjoy the game much more than i did in the patch before

16:50 it's because the 1st 3 tatsus were off the ground. Then the last 3 were the "airial" tatsus
As soon as you leave the ground the game considers all specials you can do to be air moves. The first special was grounded, that’s why it went L legs, M legs, H legs, back to L, then beam. Once SD off beam connected, it reset the special cancels. Same thing happens with vanish or any other thing you can do to keep the combo going, like calling an assist.
Assume most the community has figured this out by now but figured I’d clarify.
