I love the little diagram at the top right corner of the screen , it's very purposeful and not only gives you the picture of the finished product but also helps you follow through the procedure simply
There are hundreds of videos on building a router table, but this is one of the best for clarity and ease . . . oh yeah, it’s a well-put-together video too, cheers!
Definitely enjoyed this. I love the barebones build to. Newbies need more content like this so they aren’t intimidated due to lack of tools in the beginning
Great to see someone like me who doesn't have loads of expensive tools and massive workshop Clean and concise video with no silly music Hello from England
You're an absolute genius. Brilliantly made video explaining it so well. Great idea and design. Love the way it can be bench top, bench side, or anywhere. Great idea having the red highlights showing what section you're working on. Also, being so compact, it can be stored on shelving, etc...
DUDE! That little diagram at that top with which part you are working on at each step is incredibly cool! Love that touch. You've got some fantastic graphics and transitions in your videos.
I would add two things, something to hold the wrenches for changing the bits and a center reference line for the fence on the top of the table. Other than that, very nice and clean.
Thanks! Oh, man I really considered adding a wrench holder, it but I didn't I have the hardware on hand. What I was planning to do is use a threaded insert with a small wing screw.
I'm planning to build a router table like this and I have been looking at different ideas on RUclips. But I really like your design and your clear style is great. Another subscriber from the UK.
WOW MAN...I stated following you at about 90,000. Now look at you 2.8M and counting. You have surpassed some of the biggest Creators and Woodworkers on RUclips, All the time providing fresh new ideas and content anyone and everyone can make! Here's to 3.0M CHEERS
What an amazing demo. Best I have ever seen. More demos please. Really enjoyed his skill level and tools he used and the mini diagram in the upper right corner. Bravo.
I built this today. Changed a few things but overall it’s the same. Have a router that I never use but now I can do more router work. Thanks for the video
This dudes work is so flawless, he doesn't even create saw dust while cutting, great job! Its just what I've been looking for. I have like no budget at the moment but I have this same router. I also have an old model 91130 router table from harbor freight I lost 20 bucks on cause its junk, but I need a table I can use, so I'm going to make this one, thank you so much! now i just need the Ply wood, :{
I appreciate your build of this. So many of the examples are unnecessarily complicated and require a large expense of unique parts. Also want to thank you for the well done videos that show where you are during the process. Thank you for quality content.
This is great man!!! Thank you. Every video I find is mostly just people showing off their shops and tools rather than making an easy DIY for beginners. This helps a lot! 💪
Bought the plans, excited to make this. My favorite part is the wifi router on the router table :D The fact that you didn't even call attention to it made it 100 times funnier!!
Very helpful video that has a professional look, clear instructions (although rather fast-paced for my age), an amazingly organized, clean workspace, and a well-designed, sturdy “product”. He’s worth watching and learning from.
That's a well thought out design. I especially like the versatility of being able to clamp or mount it to the top or side of a workbench. It's also a lot prettier than the janky little mini router table I made from scrap plywood, 2x4s and some masonite. I'd originally made mine for the express purpose of fitting a custom sled for cutting box joints. I've gotten a fair amount of use out of it, but now I'm thinking it's time for an upgrade. Checking out your plans now.
This is the 2nd video I've watched of yours and I'll repeat my comment from the 1st video. ""Sir, you HAVE talent!". Thank you for sharing and continuing to help inspire others. I love doing projects like this. I look forward to seeing what else you have done and will be doing in the future.
I came for the router table, but I stayed for the action shots of routing anywhere. Simple and effective design, I will be making one of these for my shop ASAP.
Basic simple and practical and best of all cheap to make. I myself is a woodworker and when I can I to make what I can to save costs and it helps me to save my customers money for it keeps my overhead costs down and I don’t have to pass that on to.
great job. I am not smart enough on woodworking to try this, but soon. You were very cleaver to build that and it looks perfectly useable for me. I live in Italy and have a small part of my garage to work in.
I love your videos and your humor. I love your video editing skills too. You show us what you're making without going on and on like some do (it bugs me when they don't speed up the working parts or lower the sound when they're using their tools), I love that you show us where you're at with your added diagram in the corner (love this addition) and the finished product and how you use it. I have a small cordless trim router and have been debating on buying a big one and table. I have some scraps I can make something like this with. May just hold up on a big router for right now since my trim router does great. Thank you for your inspiration and creativity. You are awesome! Keep rockin it!
I have watched video after video on router table builds. Yours is the simplest and best one I’ve come across. TBH, I could have built this with your description and video. Yet you did such a great job, I bought the plans. I watched this today, and I’m starting on it today. Absolutely GREAT JOB!
Great idea with clamping the wood to the bottom of the base. Took me all day struggling with mines making a drawer to figure it out. Wish I had watched this prior to my build today
Duuuuuuude! Just bought the same router last week to do some custom baseboard for my parents and was thinking of making a table for it then WHAM, you drop a video which is perfect!!!
I just made one of these for my new router. Where were you with this video 2 weeks ago? Mine works just fine but I especially like the way you set up the fence and option to clamp to the side of a work bench instead of just on top. Well done.
I love it. You clearly demonstrate you don't need to spend thousands to turn out really good quality projects. That Dewalt router is a beautiful bit of kit, too.👍😊
I saw many Japanese versions of routertables, where every bit was planned out in advance in sub-mm precision. Your kind of working is more my style: having a basic idea, and adjusting it on the fly.

Hi I love what you do and how you do it. You have inspired me.
Could you do a video on a T style DJ table.
This will be my first project.
I love your classic comedy dude... Well done mate!
Thank you.

I literally came here to post this exact thing. It helps SO much to orient us on how this current step fits into the whole project.
Yessss!
I loved the "Wi-Fi" router table!!!
That was an A+ gag.
Ngl, it's pretty slick
I don't have "Wi-Fi" but is battery operated so yeah portable to use anywhere👍👍👍
Lol
@@napalmradio DUH!!!
the "where i'm at" addition is bomb. I dig that a ton
It is a very nice little touch
I absolutely love the “where am I” graphics for each piece. That’s a great way for everyone to follow along.
Excellent job, Sir! You are a true craftsman.
That 3D model with the part your working on being highlighted red is next level!
"Using this router table anywhere" was awesome! I like the budget-friendly simplicity. Your "where I am at" feature is the best on youtube!

I have never subscribed to a woodworking channel faster. That "Where I'm At" feature is BRILLIANT. Can't wait to see more.
I like the highlight showing which part of the project you're working on in the upper right. Never seen that before. Very clever.
When you clamped it to the side of the workbench, that just blew my mind. I need to build this!
Same here ! As a somewhat shorter female, I was going "NO WAY" to the high position, but was gratified when he switched to a lower position !
Hands down the most efficient tabletop router build yet! Loving it, building it!
Same here. Simple yet effective in design and usage
Great to see someone like me who doesn't have loads of expensive tools and massive workshop
Clean and concise video with no silly music
Hello from England
I like the Where I’m At drawings! Nice little table.
Thanks!
I love the “Where I am at” feature in the top right hand corner. I haven’t seen that before. Great job!
Amazing video. The picture of which part you were currently working on at the top right was by far more useful than you'd think. Thank you
All set ups I’ve seen, this is probably the easiest and most straight forward design! Great work!
I like how you added the metric measurements and also the "Where am I at" visual. This earned you a follow from me 🙂
This is a great idea. Simple but checks all the boxes.
You're an absolute genius. Brilliantly made video explaining it so well.
Great idea and design. Love the way it can be bench top, bench side, or anywhere.
Great idea having the red highlights showing what section you're working on.
