So you use a to refer to a general object or an object that you didn't mention before like "a table was in the middle". "An" is like "a" but it's used when a word starts with a vowel (a e i o u). The is used to refer to something previously mentioned by you or something that is known specifically "There was *a* table in the middle. *the* table had *an* apple"

Hi there! Thanks so much for watching my lessons here on RUclips. I’m so glad you find them helpful. With regard to essay writing, that’s more of an academic English topic. My channel focuses on lessons connected to Business English - email writing/report writing etc. Hope you understand. I’m sure you’ll be able to find good videos from other RUclipsrs on the topic of essay writing 👍

Hi, Derek. Thanks for the ideias. That really turn a normal presentation to a much better one. I've been watching some Ted talks and I noticed that they use those tools a lot. I need to do a presentation soon and this video helped me a lot getting new ideias. 👏👏👏
I have an internship interview about a cultural trend. They said it’s all about my creativity but I don’t know if story telling is enough to bring my subject to alive. What do you think? Is story telling enough creativity ?
Hi there! That really depends on how good a story teller you are. If you can tell a personal anecdote that is engaging and connected to your topic, it could work very well.
Hi Vimal! Great question. I think it can definitely be a good ice-breaker but it all depends on your audience, the type of presentation and the culture of the place where you’re presenting. In an informal environment it can work very well and help you to build a great rapport with your audience 👍
Hi Lai Lai! Here are some tips for improving self-confidence during a public presentation: 1. Know your topic really well and be very-well prepared. 2. Be convinced and enthusiastic about the topic you are presenting. I know this is not always possible, but if it is, it should help with your confidence. 3. Practise in front of people you know and get feedback, but make sure you don't only get positive feedback. Ask people to focus on things you could do better too. 4. Record your voice or even film yourself. Analyse how you sound and what your body language is like - ask yourself: what can I do to sound or look more confident? I hope this helps. Regards, Derek

Next mondy i have presentation ,i would like to begine it with game..is it a good way ?what do u think please ?
It could be great, but it really depends on your topic and your audience. Think carefully about who you audience are and how you can engage them.
do you think using small talks is a good way to break the ice - before kicking off presentations?
Hi Vimal! Great question. I think it can definitely be a good ice-breaker but it all depends on your audience, the type of presentation and the culture of the place where you’re presenting. In an informal environment it can work very well and help you to build a great rapport with your audience 👍

Sir, how to improve the self confidence level during public presentation?
Hi Lai Lai!
Here are some tips for improving self-confidence during a public presentation:

Derek
