Palafox and Joe Patti! Fun fact, my mom grew up with the Patti's and still lives around the corner from them in Edgewater. Small world! We were also still living there for Ivan. It was such a bad storm!! Its crazy to see all the new little shops on Palafox. Happy to see little Pensacola growing!

We were looking to move to Venice, Florida, but it has become to expensive. Then I found your video and we are definitely thinking about moving to Pensacola instead.

I'm afraid I don't know. I have not witnessed any crime since moving to Pensacola over three years ago. I'm sure it's there like anywhere else, but I don't see it.
It is now the end of March 2023 and the marina at palafox Pier still has not been rebuilt, apparently they are fighting with the city over the construction of the seawall causing so much damage during storms due to its design.
hey Kevin! Welcome to the area! I usually use Zillow, but I know there are some sites for places with roommates that may allow you to have a lower rent payment for a short time. Or if you can live a little further out you might find something. In Pensacola or near the beach will be the higher prices.
There are some nice hotels by the mall, that's where I stayed when I was looking for houses to move, its called Cordova Mall plus there are lots of restaurants too! That isn't downtown, if you need to be down town. I suggest the Holiday Inn just a couple blocks off of Palafox Street. If you're wanting to stay on the Beach I've stayed at the Hampton Inn and it was a great location, its been redone a bit so its pretty nice. I would also suggest the Hilton and Holiday Inn right next door and they are also right on the gulf.
Too bad you didn’t show veterans memorial park. With Pensacola having such a rich link to military history and thousands of active duty, retirees and veterans living in the area.
I like that she didn't though. As a Pensacola native, Pensacola is so much more than the military. There is plenty out there on the military history and site seeing of Pensacola. Its good to see someone showing the other sides and trying to drive more diverse tourism into the city.
