- Welcome to Part 8 -- of the Wrecked Wraith Rebuild Series. In today's episode Mike finally has all the parts in place to start the Wraith but it's not the starting.. Which means only one thing, the engine or transmission might be seized and that would be a MAJOR problem.

Remove the accessories belt to insolate the problem only to the engine.. accessories sometimes seize.. if it doesn’t spin still look down the cylinders.. that old starter is burnt like that telling u it was probably trying to many times too attempt to turn a seized motor.. don’t duck up the new starter. Only try by hand..

Two things, could this not be a pyro fuse, because a Lamborghini does the exact same thing, with the starter click, or another suggestion remove the gearbox and drive shafts, and then try turning the motor

I think it’s obvious at this point that when the oil cooler broke the car was running still and most of the oil drained out and ruined the motor. That’s why before you buy one of these you try and spin the motor and make sure it’s good. Could be a seized accessory but chances of this are real low. Hope it works out for you and it is a simple fix.
You are correct the oil cooler was off and since the airbags didn’t deploy the car never shut off on the impact
All it needs is 1 minute without that oil cooler and that engine is seized. Taking the belt off won’t do anything no accessories are seized just your engine
I’ve dealt with this on m5, 6series etc
I could tell the engine was seized in the first video. Your starter burned up because you tried to keep starting a seized engine
The reason the oil is full in the car is whoever you bought the car from or insurance company fooled you by filling it back up as without the oil cooler that car was toast since the airbags didn’t deploy and it kept running. You got screwed from whoever sold it to you

What else could stop it the engine from turning over? Thats crazy! I dont k ow much about cars. Bit could the belt be getting stopped by the ac pully or something. Could there be a pull locked up?
I think oil cooler ripped off and then car running seized engine bud.

they probably dumped transmission oil into the cylinders trying to get the motor freed up.

I'm wondering if there is a frozen piston ring. Maybe an accessory is frozen, but I would think it would still spin a little.
So when you crash a car the battery has a Safety feature where it blows.
Fix that IBMS sensor ? I think
Probably a modular , should hook up a scan tool to check the onboard computer!
the oil cooler and supply lines are history ? Soooo .... is how much transmission fluid is left inside the transmission .... I wonder ? Interesting series of videos .. .. .. : )

I can tell he didn’t want to disassemble the whole front chassis to take off the belt, damn that’s a lot of work. At least he’s paid to do it I guess.

YOu may not believe this, but I thought my Daughter had seized the engine in her car, but it turned out the A/C compressor was seized and that caused the car not to have enough cranking amps to turn the engine over.
A decent mechanic would have checked that b4 buying it non runner ,
