Plus I stream it almost constantly so people can see it. So for me it’s great. What people are saying I have no idea

This league made farming blight content (and legion) MUCH more fun due to that 25% to open nearby chest on each cast. In your blight ravaged map you have 202 chests to open. TWO HUNDRED clicks in just one map to open the damn things. On a build such as EK Ignite you just cast and entire cluster opens up at once. Youll open many of these chests while mopping up the leftovers once the timer has expired. Idk what is happening with blight on SC trade league but gold oil is 70 chaos each. Never seen it that expensive.

@@Travic_This was a uber failure for me. Got a truly awful map (Vault) where no towers could spawn and be active while I was standing at the pump. It prove that my DPS is way too low for that kind of maps. Time to go back to regular blighted maps...
my advice: To avoid wrist-strain. Used speed-autoclicker and continuously click the "show loot" button so the loot reorganises itself. This way you can simply hold the autoclicker on 1 spot and you get all things on the ground.
Ive stopped using the meteor burning stuff since it was a bug it could go through fire immune monsters. Ive swapped to arc towers attacking two times since it doesnt rely on fast enemies and it helped better after the nerf.

Blight ravaged is definitely a low effort and relaxed playstyle compared to regular mapping, but I personally didn't find it as profitable as other in-map mechanics like legion or delirium. Ran only around 30 of them though, so my sample size is low and could've been a bad rng streak - but didn't find a single golden oil or divine, and most of the money came from stacked decks in blight chests. Legion chests in comparison drop divines at a very high rate. Wish they'd drop anointed jewellery or other blight ravaged maps from the chests. But your videos are awesome and very informative, so thanks for making them!
A lot f money come from The ilvl86 bases too, shields, bows, scepters all things people are using on crucible. A lot of the income too is the smaller currencies adding up. Thanks for the kind words! (Edit for spelling and grammar)
I keep getting mobs that are immune to stuns and can't be slowed. Any helpful hints? I can't keep them away from my tower....Normal blight is fine....its the ravaged blight....wasted so many mats on failed blight because of those guys.
Last league i dropped 2 apothecarys from sacks and 2 from stacked decks from blight ravaged sacks. My second blighted not blight ravaged map i did this league dropped an apothecary from a sack. Price was around 37div at the time, sold it instantly to fund a totem build.
I dropped two mirrors in my career since beta. The first one was from a blight chest reward from ossuary in blight league. and the second was this league in blight ravaged from a currency chest. I can definitely say Blight is a profitable mechanic.
my only real problem with BRMs is a build with actual DPS to clear waves and/or kill bosses. My only build that's capable doing so is ballista stacker at its squishy as new player in act3.
@@Travic_ im quite sure 99.9% is a "me issue". Ive tried to make it on budget, using crucible as a crutch (lucked out with cruc tree). To be honest i have around 20-30m dps, max res and..... 1600 life. Sigh. Its my best and yet the worst build. If you'll make a solid ballista dex stacker build guide (for dummies), i'll definitely watch :) Edit: 20-30m sounds like Lot, but if u cant instakill/insta-phase, u die. For that u need around 140m dps IIRC. Im too dumb to fix my build :
but do u have a strategy that work without spending 300 divine on gear first though. from just tower to trap monster and kill on all map when ur damage dont make a dent on the monster, especially the boss
thx for your great video. i enjoy blight alot but couldnt make profits yet. in most cases i managed to get even or get 100c-150c out of 10 maps. here my questions regarding the things i think im doing wrong: does the quant the silver oils give you apply to the chests too? i thought it only applies to the loot dropped by the bosses. my character has a lot of map mods it can not run. how important is vaaling the map? can i vaal and annoint it afterwards? should i try to sell the "wrongly" rolled maps? does "x blight chest are lucky" apply to the chests you open first or are they selected randomly from all spawned chests? i went full out with 95 or 105 chests are lucky but it didnt give me the results i wished for. why do you prefer the black oil over the violet oil? isnt it better to have an extra chest at 75% of the lanes instead of having a quite small chance for an extra reward? thats what i run right know: b.r. racecourse map+chisels+alch (until nice mods)+ 3 crimson, 3 opolescent, 3 violets + 3 of those 5% quant fragments in the map device. regarding the fact im doing so low profits, you can imagine i like this tower defence mechanic alot. would be nice to take it to the next level. thx for you help exiles!
-all quant on blight maps applies to number of chests at 20% of its value -vaaling can give additional mods for more quant and allows it to drop tainted oils which are currently about 25c each. Personally I don't vaal mine because there are some mods that simply brick it (monster can't be stunned,) and I don't consider it worth the risk. -you can vaal and then anoint if you use a tainted oil, but this adds extra cost
@@JohnMcFist the mods such as 'monsters cant be stunned' or 'monster movement speed cannot be changed' can be worked around. In case of first you use ice beam stun for .2s they still affect stun-immune mobs. For the second you just spam seismics. This strat doesnt work for BR maps tho... Unless your build is so decked out it can clear screens of mobs without issues.
I've been really feeling the 1 crimson 2 teal on regular blighted. Normally there's about 20 chests so you're getting 60% lucky and still 3 minute maps. I've been finding the loot significantly better and I'm still blazing through them.
@@Travic_ I was thinking more about it and I'm also maybe not understanding the lucky chest thing. I'm not sure if it's applying to the item selection or are the chests themselves are lucky. For example, let's say there's 20 rewards - but there's actually more than 20 chests because the lane will have say 2-6. So I don't know if lucky just means I'm getting better rolls on the rewards (visually that's what I thought it was doing), but I've seen some people say lucky just means the roll of what's in the chest (e.g. junk weapons vs synth base). I might have to start a spreadsheet to track the different rewards and see if I'm actually seeing better rewards selected or not.
@@fate0521 I'm fairly sure "lucky" in this case is the type of chest it selects for the lane. So your lucky roll might mean you get a lane of currency chests instead of basic armours, for instance.

Tried this. Running boneshatter lvl 93. Spent almost 200c juicing/buying 2 maps. T15 underground river. One side is fine/locked and both times the other side gets thru because they won't get locked on the trifecta. Just walk thru that shit. I'm barely leaving the center. Have no problem on same map without the 2 silvers. Like GGG just laughing at me.
@@Travic_ I'm not dying they are just getting thru the trifecta. On a better note I hit 3 Divs in 5 maps running standard blighted maps with 3 ambers and all 4 Sacrifice things. 😂
Probably the issue with towers turning off when you are more than two screens away, as a melee you would have more range issues than any other build And yes i know this is months old from different league but it applies to current one too 🤪

there are so many more bases that you can collect and sell in bulk. you could almost double your profit per map if you collect the desired bases for helmets, gloves, boots, weapons, jewels, rings, amulets, etc. takes more time to collect and sell in bulk, so this is an optional strategy. so just saying, that on the ground is a huge amount more of potential currency

I’ve been modifying my filter that I am personally using a ton. As of today I added wands and swords to my filter cause I am currently hunting them. I advise people all the time to save the filter and adjust to your needs as mine constantly change in blight and I update accordingly. You should always use your own anyways because I may be hiding things you are looking for but yes you should be seeing a ton of ilvl86 rares and bases for crucible
Do you recommend using gold oils? I've tried Blight Ravaged with three golds, three silvers, three opals; but I wasn't at all satisfied with the result. Considering each tier is 1/3rd the price of the next, golds don't seem worth it to me. Or maybe I got unlucky with the two maps I ran (I know this is a terrible sample size but gold oils are expensive ok)
i Did like 10 maps like y sayt best drop golden oil and ok stacked decks but that issent such a big profit and i dont have 10 free stash tabs do put in level 86 items so no good fo me !
@@Travic_ Thanks for the reply :) My filter isn't filtering them out but I haven't been using polished scarabs. I've also realised that I perhaps misunderstood the node. The way it's worded made me think an anointed jewellery drop from blight bosses in regular maps is guaranteed, but I suspect it just means if one does drop, an extra one drops as well.
How important is the vaaling? because my build isn't that strong and rolling "mobs cant be slowed" or chance to avoid element aliments would brick my map.
On a regular blight in a map with double reflect , the game almost crashed , it froze for several seconds then I lost the mission. (animate weapons build)
i;m failing about 3/4 ravaged maps as EA ballista elementalist. It's hard to juggle building more towers while trying to protect the pump while also killing stuff. It's pretty rage inducing actually. maybe my build isn't great at soloing these. I think i've only completed 2 total. I'm using your same annoints for rings/maps and also building the same things.
It sounds like you as a a player are getting overwhelmed. It’s just takes practice to build towers and get the hang of things. I know plenty of people playing EA and clearing blight fine. Odds are you just need some more practice
there are map layouts that just suck. sometimes buildingspots are too far from each other or there are too many lanes to cover. look for layouts that produce chokepoints. racecourse, haunted mansion and dungeon are great. but even then i fail 10% of maps just because u get unlucky sometimes.
What you did leagues ago and what people have been doing are very different. It also wasn’t really needed so there wasn’t a lot of need to evolve in techniques. Also leagues ago you just made arc towers or scout towers and didn’t care about anything else.
Yeah, idk what I'm doing wrong. In this video dude puts down just a handful of towers and lets them do their thing. I just went through ten blight ravaged w/ triple clear/sepia/amber on my lvl90 LA and failed every single one of them. I then respecced into his exact build, making sure to do exactly as he does. Failed another ten blighted ravaged. The final map was a basic white 20%q & failed it still. a single 3-lane merge I covered with 10 towers, two empower to cover all the towers, two ice, two seismic and four fire towers. ads just pushed right through it before it was even 4min. quickly tossed down another two ice to slow them, seismic for further slow, slammed down like 7 fire towers and the fuckers still destroyed my pump. I don't understand.
Hey, more then happy to help you figure out what you are doing wrong. Lets start with one of the basics. Did you annoint your rings? I know its a fairly silly question but we have to cover all our bases and figure out what you are doing wrong. Secondly are you moving to far away from the towers? If you move more then 1 screen or a screen and a half they stop working. You have to stay equally distant from the towers and your pump on both sides. Lastly with LA and vengant cascade ice cage towers do a lot of work. Have you tried those?
Correct now it is, it wasn’t when I bought it before this video. Also make sure you are looking at shields with all 5 nodes and 1 of them being shock immunity, node 5 being SST and a 1005 es
Only Vaal if you have a plan for all map mods which is why I show you to cage towers and I explain to build arc towers and scout. Just a lot of adapting, if you roll cannot be stunned we pray on ice towers and below base value we pray on seismic/stun. Just a lot of learning and adapting
Imo on average build without very good dps you will not be able to do those maps in current league. Mobs got buffed and towers are not very useful anymore for bosses with immunity to all types of towers. I never had any bigger problem with them but in this league I noticed very often spawn monsters/bosses who ignore all types of towers so no stun/freeze is possible. I can't calculate my current build in PoB because I have too many factors and it doesn't show proper multipliers but total dps should be about 20m and it's absolutely not enough for bosses which can't be slowed or stunned any way. I tried about 30 maps (9 oils, rare corrupted - even with mild mods) and much more than half failed. I agree with many complains on reddit: meteor+chill method is not working correctly anymore.
I did it on a very average lightning arrow build with little to no gear only a bow. It just depends on the skill of the player and understanding towers.
@@Travic_ I still play them. I can see about 50% maps I loose. So I stopped corrupting maps and I don't use bad mods e.g. 70% chance to avoid EA. So it looks like half of maps I can do almost afk, another half just few monsters were fast moving and unstopable any way. Nothing to understand with towers, I play this game 6 years and have done lots of ravaged maps. I never ever had a bigger problem with them before this league, so I bet monsters got hidden mods like a stun immune or smth.
vaal orbs are what 500 to 1div? its shame you dont corrupt jewels, with so many of them you get abit more profit, you can get alot of gg uniqe jewels like inspired etc... but also corrupted blood, if you get it with life% dot or combo of good mods, then its really nice currency yield boost
Start with regular blighted maps to get the hang of it, once you get really solid at it and understand how it works move up to ravaged. You dont need a lot of money to do it you just need to be damn good at tower defense.
if you're talking about min maxing every last drop out of a map, sure. If you're talking about how much currency you make per hour (the only thing that matters) then his argument for teal is perfectly sound

When you do not have enough DPS and you want to start a ravaged map, would you recommend using a few clear oil to slow the monsters down a bit?
Use Amber Oil, Clear, Sepia 3 of each

Don't roll your map (via alch) for 'mobs immun to stun / mobs cannot be slowed below base value'.

I haven’t plenty of videos on the channel showcasing how to do blights with 0 gear equipped all the way to heavily invested gear.

I've been really feeling the 1 crimson 2 teal on regular blighted. Normally there's about 20 chests so you're getting 60% lucky and still 3 minute maps.
I've been finding the loot significantly better and I'm still blazing through them.

@@Travic_ I was thinking more about it and I'm also maybe not understanding the lucky chest thing. I'm not sure if it's applying to the item selection or are the chests themselves are lucky. For example, let's say there's 20 rewards - but there's actually more than 20 chests because the lane will have say 2-6. So I don't know if lucky just means I'm getting better rolls on the rewards (visually that's what I thought it was doing), but I've seen some people say lucky just means the roll of what's in the chest (e.g. junk weapons vs synth base).
I might have to start a spreadsheet to track the different rewards and see if I'm actually seeing better rewards selected or not.
@@fate0521 I'm fairly sure "lucky" in this case is the type of chest it selects for the lane. So your lucky roll might mean you get a lane of currency chests instead of basic armours, for instance.
@@loobkoob yep I've been gathering data on different oils and not only does it give you the better rewards but you also get better quality items - i.e. synth or fractured items

Hey Travic, same thing happens to me with the lag in the map when the modifier rolls Physical reflection.
Tried this. Running boneshatter lvl 93. Spent almost 200c juicing/buying 2 maps. T15 underground river. One side is fine/locked and both times the other side gets thru because they won't get locked on the trifecta. Just walk thru that shit. I'm barely leaving the center.
Have no problem on same map without the 2 silvers.
Like GGG just laughing at me.
And I have multiple trifectas on each side.
Damn, I havent tried it with Boneshatter I can imagine melee is a bit more difficult. Hmm lemme think on it and see if I can try it on my melee guy

On a better note I hit 3 Divs in 5 maps running standard blighted maps with 3 ambers and all 4 Sacrifice things. 😂
Probably the issue with towers turning off when you are more than two screens away, as a melee you would have more range issues than any other build

there are so many more bases that you can collect and sell in bulk. you could almost double your profit per map if you collect the desired bases for helmets, gloves, boots, weapons, jewels, rings, amulets, etc. takes more time to collect and sell in bulk, so this is an optional strategy. so just saying, that on the ground is a huge amount more of potential currency
What other bases sell well in bulk?

I’ve been modifying my filter that I am personally using a ton. As of today I added wands and swords to my filter cause I am currently hunting them. I advise people all the time to save the filter and adjust to your needs as mine constantly change in blight and I update accordingly. You should always use your own anyways because I may be hiding things you are looking for but yes you should be seeing a ton of ilvl86 rares and bases for crucible
what if the league just starts and i want to start with low blights and dont have annoints? can i make them with just towwers?
I just did some on stream in a SSF setting. Its super easy, once you complee the first map you have enough forever
Do you recommend using gold oils? I've tried Blight Ravaged with three golds, three silvers, three opals; but I wasn't at all satisfied with the result. Considering each tier is 1/3rd the price of the next, golds don't seem worth it to me. Or maybe I got unlucky with the two maps I ran (I know this is a terrible sample size but gold oils are expensive ok)
I felt like golds were a scam and not worth. But hard to say I only did a few test
i Did like 10 maps like y sayt best drop golden oil and ok stacked decks but that issent such a big profit and i dont have 10 free stash tabs do put in level 86 items so no good fo me !

Depends on the quant roll, I want to say its a Yes amount (I havent counted them recently but its a metric ton)
Doesnt work super easy for me i failed 3/4. I just do the 3 annoints with low investment and get divines sometimes.

Are you using atleast polished scarabs to get more bosses? Also make sure your filter isn’t filtering then out

My filter isn't filtering them out but I haven't been using polished scarabs. I've also realised that I perhaps misunderstood the node. The way it's worded made me think an anointed jewellery drop from blight bosses in regular maps is guaranteed, but I suspect it just means if one does drop, an extra one drops as well.
If you were going to make the best build for blight what would it be and why?
Right now I am on SST because its super fun and blows up everything but I like anything with proliferate because it chains down the lines
How important is the vaaling? because my build isn't that strong and rolling "mobs cant be slowed" or chance to avoid element aliments would brick my map.
Its only for bigger quant numbers and tainted oils, if you cant do it THEN DONT DO IT

On a regular blight in a map with double reflect , the game almost crashed , it froze for several seconds then I lost the mission. (animate weapons build)

i;m failing about 3/4 ravaged maps as EA ballista elementalist. It's hard to juggle building more towers while trying to protect the pump while also killing stuff. It's pretty rage inducing actually. maybe my build isn't great at soloing these. I think i've only completed 2 total. I'm using your same annoints for rings/maps and also building the same things.
It sounds like you as a a player are getting overwhelmed. It’s just takes practice to build towers and get the hang of things. I know plenty of people playing EA and clearing blight fine. Odds are you just need some more practice
there are map layouts that just suck. sometimes buildingspots are too far from each other or there are too many lanes to cover. look for layouts that produce chokepoints. racecourse, haunted mansion and dungeon are great. but even then i fail 10% of maps just because u get unlucky sometimes.

What you did leagues ago and what people have been doing are very different. It also wasn’t really needed so there wasn’t a lot of need to evolve in techniques. Also leagues ago you just made arc towers or scout towers and didn’t care about anything else.
Yeah, idk what I'm doing wrong. In this video dude puts down just a handful of towers and lets them do their thing. I just went through ten blight ravaged w/ triple clear/sepia/amber on my lvl90 LA and failed every single one of them. I then respecced into his exact build, making sure to do exactly as he does. Failed another ten blighted ravaged. The final map was a basic white 20%q & failed it still. a single 3-lane merge I covered with 10 towers, two empower to cover all the towers, two ice, two seismic and four fire towers. ads just pushed right through it before it was even 4min. quickly tossed down another two ice to slow them, seismic for further slow, slammed down like 7 fire towers and the fuckers still destroyed my pump. I don't understand.
Hey, more then happy to help you figure out what you are doing wrong. Lets start with one of the basics. Did you annoint your rings? I know its a fairly silly question but we have to cover all our bases and figure out what you are doing wrong.
Secondly are you moving to far away from the towers? If you move more then 1 screen or a screen and a half they stop working. You have to stay equally distant from the towers and your pump on both sides.
Lastly with LA and vengant cascade ice cage towers do a lot of work. Have you tried those?
Wtf your joking 220 div for that shield I'm looking at 2 right now one for 120 div and another for 90 div even? The highest one I see here is 140 div.
Correct now it is, it wasn’t when I bought it before this video. Also make sure you are looking at shields with all 5 nodes and 1 of them being shock immunity, node 5 being SST and a 1005 es

@@MrApawlik if you vaal it and it rolls mods you cannot handle and you dont have the damage yourself - it will likely be a brick.
Only Vaal if you have a plan for all map mods which is why I show you to cage towers and I explain to build arc towers and scout. Just a lot of adapting, if you roll cannot be stunned we pray on ice towers and below base value we pray on seismic/stun. Just a lot of learning and adapting
Does this require an atlas passive tree setup? Or can that just be totally ignored?
Blight-ravaged maps are not affected by Atlas passives (the regular blighted maps aren't either).
You'll have to source your own maps and oils, but blighted maps aren't affected by atlas.

Imo on average build without very good dps you will not be able to do those maps in current league. Mobs got buffed and towers are not very useful anymore for bosses with immunity to all types of towers. I never had any bigger problem with them but in this league I noticed very often spawn monsters/bosses who ignore all types of towers so no stun/freeze is possible. I can't calculate my current build in PoB because I have too many factors and it doesn't show proper multipliers but total dps should be about 20m and it's absolutely not enough for bosses which can't be slowed or stunned any way. I tried about 30 maps (9 oils, rare corrupted - even with mild mods) and much more than half failed. I agree with many complains on reddit: meteor+chill method is not working correctly anymore.
I did it on a very average lightning arrow build with little to no gear only a bow. It just depends on the skill of the player and understanding towers.
@@Travic_ I still play them. I can see about 50% maps I loose. So I stopped corrupting maps and I don't use bad mods e.g. 70% chance to avoid EA. So it looks like half of maps I can do almost afk, another half just few monsters were fast moving and unstopable any way. Nothing to understand with towers, I play this game 6 years and have done lots of ravaged maps. I never ever had a bigger problem with them before this league, so I bet monsters got hidden mods like a stun immune or smth.

vaal orbs are what 500 to 1div? its shame you dont corrupt jewels, with so many of them you get abit more profit, you can get alot of gg uniqe jewels like inspired etc... but also corrupted blood, if you get it with life% dot or combo of good mods, then its really nice currency yield boost

Start with regular blighted maps to get the hang of it, once you get really solid at it and understand how it works move up to ravaged. You dont need a lot of money to do it you just need to be damn good at tower defense.
