claude kim I can support this. I have War Thunder and I have it all set up on cinematic settings followed by 60+ FPS running on my GTX 760. It's the same except that on War Thunder it's more accurate in terms of aerodynamics and planes are not UFOS. (You might hear that some planes are UFOs on the forums, but that's the community's way of saying that the plane is OP in an aspect, for example, a few patches ago the F4U had godly climb rate, and it was deemed a UFO by the community)

The 3 things that would make WoWP a competitor to War Thunder.

2: GET RID OF HEALTH BARS
3:More planes, REAL planes. (Almost half of the tech trees are just planes they made up themselves.

War thunder has arcade mode too. 3 diffrent game modes that you can play according to your skills.. arcade is for people who just want unrealism and simple fun (kind off), realistic for people who like things to be done more propperly and historicly accurate and challenging .. and simulator for those who really want to be a ww2 pilot. the wt grapichs are so much better that its just unfair to compare them and wt also has tanks that are better modelled, more realistic and more fun to play than wot.. (arcade,realistic and simulator) just much better than wowp and wot in every way..
war gaming products are bad and they only care about money. they never improve anything except the ideas that they copy from Gaijin.. and you cant argue about that because look at it.. after wt tanks was introduced suddenly wg starts to add simple basic stuff that wt had from it was launched and they dont... then take all the credit for it. and they keep delaying stuff that they promised should have been there a long time a go all the time (i guess they still are still looking for files to copy from the wt archive) Francis Moran it seems that you have never played wt or not since it was in beta (now its 1.45).. i reccommend you to play wt and see how good it is... and more too add... wt is better optimised than wg products, better grapichs, models, game modes, a nicer comunity (realistic and simulator mainly, arcade is arcade you know) and wowp isnt fun, its just a boring and unrealistic wanna be of wt.

Even with all those points I still have to agree with him, and while yes, WG can be very greedy, gaijin can be too (IS-7), and World if Tanks is even more arcade-like than war thunders arcade and I played both of them. When I recommend a casual game, I go with WoT but if I recommend a very realistic game then I prefer WT

Yes, that's true. First, the p-51 mustangs attacked a Soviet train, even though they were allies in ww2 , and also, the American biplanes were fighting Soviet biplanes. 🍝💩💩💩💩💩💩💩 Still, pretty cool trailer regardless.

Sorry, but this game is just so....terrible. War thunder is better.
Let me give you two main reasons why War Thunder is *not* better than WoWp:
Reason #1. Gaijin Studios, who I and the majority of air combat gamers for the PC, have respected for their dedication to realism in the IL-2 games, decided to throw away all the lessons they learned of realism in IL-2 in favor of propaganda and pride of the nation that the studio is based in (Russia). Because of this, people like me have lost the respect we've had for Gaijin when they did IL-2.
People who say that this trailer for WoWp here is propaganda completely ignore the fact that the "propaganda" is only present in this trailer, and not in the actual gameplay (me and my brother were in the Closed Beta for WoWp, and the only advantage that there was in the game, was in higher Tier levels, no matter what faction). WT on the other hand has their Russian pride obvious in the gameplay with the Red Air Force aircraft OP compared to other aircraft (for example: The de Havilland Mosquito, *one of the fastest prop-driven fighters in the Western Allied arsenal* was made *slower* than a Yak-9).
Reason #2. The last time I checked on the community forums, Gaijin Studios does not really care for the player base in WT, which is compounded by the fact that they could not be assed to fix the OP Russian aircraft problem (I have seen requests by players to have the problem fixed utterly ignored). Instead, they put out "patches" (which are not really patches to fix flaws in the game, but are really ways of keeping the Pay to Win players happy by adding more aircraft).
Trust me, I've played WT as well, and it is not realistic like everyone on here says, the gameplay is heavily flawed (including the OP Soviet aircraft that make the players who fly them feel invincible), and majority of players in the game are a bunch of assholes.
Christopher Manson Last time I checked, that's how Russian planes preformed and to stick with their realism, I will always back them up 100% to not nerf or buff any planes available on those grounds. Think what you may, but "Gaijin doesn't care about it's player base" that made me smile, considering you missed out what War gaming thinks...
Christopher Manson Don't forget, the 30mm cannon on all the planes it was mounted on (Yes, including the Russian fighters) was indeed nerfed to the point where a player could no longer spray This is due to the fact that after one shot, a second straight after would ultimately miss fire into another direction. In my honest opinion, I would say the tier 8 Bf 109's with the two extra gun-pods, with the ability to knock out a pilot 1km with pinpoint accuracy is more "OP" to your standards~ Thank you for your time.

Your game has no plan to have any type of combined-arms, It has HEALTH BARS, and half the aircraft useable never made it to prototype stage, of the ones that were ever designed.

That P-51 shot down by that 109 was my favorite scene (R.I.P. pilot). I think WarGaming should convert to WarMovie, considering that their CGI is AMAZING Compared to their games...
CGI is in their games, all of it is CGI. The difference is that trailers and cutscenes like this are pre-rendered, freeing up more memory to play with in terms of visuals. In-game CGI has to be rendered on-the-fly frame by frame, and that sacrifices visual quality. Even if you had a super computer from the year 9000 to create and play a game, trailers and cutscenes will always look better than the gameplay.

Why are American planes strafing a Soviet city during WWII?
Fighters would not fly that low in an urban area as it poses a risk to civilians and is risky to navigate through.

If you notice the tale planes are raised high above the thrust port and the intake is split in half, both are characteristic of the MiG-15
+Noah Bussell No. No that is an LA-15, MiG-15s have the wings in the center of the fuselage not on the top. Plus the MiG-15 has a 35mm or 37mm gun sticking out on the side near the intake, not what is shown in the video.

I just noticed that these clips are based on real historical dogfights. I thought I recognised one or two, but 0:45 erased any doubt. That one on one fight certainly didn't have an end as clean as in this trailer, it was the most out-of-the-ordinary and gruesome end to an air battle I've ever heard of and even fighting for the enemy the pilot didn't deserve it. In an interview the American pilot even said the same thing, I can't imagine having to live with that image like he does/did. It makes a change to finally see a trailer like this that shows respect and fear instead of excitement and fun. It just proves that games can still have an impact without that kind of mindset.

A Sabre had pursued the Mig down into a valley, and they weaved in and out of mounds and ridges between the two cliff faces. Eventually, they came across that tall rock in the middle of a bend. The Mig went one way, the Sabre went the other, and when they came back together the Sabre pulled the trigger. The Mig caught fire, and the Sabre flew up along side it. The Mig Pilot used his ejection seat, but just before he did, the plane had rolled onto it's side. He ejected head-first into the cliff face. In a later interview for a TV documentary, the Sabre pilot said: "Forget allegiances, forget nations. Forget the politics and circumstances. There's an unspoken respect between fighter pilots, no matter how great an enemy they are. I felt, pilot to pilot, that he deserved to eject safely. No one deserves to go out that way".

I've been playing WarThunder for sometime now, and I've heard a lot about WoP. So here's the question for WoP players, why do you guys like this game over War Thunder so much?
I mean WarThunder has better graphics, better plane realism and even more planes, so why do you guys prefer this game much more?

Well for me I have both WOWP and WT, I like them both and I play both. Graphics don't make a game you know, WT is a simulator, for competitive players. WOWP is an arcade, a more fast, just kick back and shoot things kind of game. So there's no reason for everyone to compare these 2 games, and idk why there's so much hate into this game. WT didn't invent WW2 Dogfighting games, nor did WOWP. So they are both in their own game style

Well the trailer is trying to say America wasn't the only country that won WW2. It always make it more interesting to see American planes getting shot down is because they weren't always depicted as a weak force. Instead, most people imagine Americans as the most advance country during WW2 which is true. However, America also had flaws which were interesting to watch.
Well, that's not true, two US planes shot up a train, three more blew up an airfield, and that biplane basically shot down two planes. I'd say it was evenly balanced among nations, which is good to see.

La-15* Though it is similar, it had another engine and the fuselage has a slightly distinguishable shape, compared to the Mig-15, also, ingame, it's mentioned as the La-15.
To those of you bringing up the historical accuracy of the trailer: it's not supposed to be historically accurate as much as it's just showing that there's a large variety of planes.
Can't wait for the day games look like this.

Like...Historical Battles? Where you have 1 plane you stick to the entire battle? Where your fuel and ammo is limited? and where the fight isnt just below 1km...it could be at 10km...even though it's 5km usually.
