Super fast service turn around. I sent my barrel in on Monday May 16 and I it showed up at my house today with VCS and awesome ports installed. That was just 10 day (including shipping both ways. I slapped the barrel back onto the 870 and went to the range for testing. WOW! What a differ nice ' recoils .... THANK YOU ALL AT VANG COMP., especially Mr. Cody. Keep up the good work!
Had one of one their barrels on on my duty 870. Hands down the best I've ever shot. I wish they offered just the barrel again. I would buy them without hesitation.
I noticed that there is no longer room for a barrel/magazine tube clamp. Can one be modified to work with your barrel porting? I currently run a +3 Nordic tube with Nordic clamp. Will the porting be blocked by the clamp?
Cody, I recently had my barrel worked on by you guys, did the whole VCS including accessories on my 870. Before I had the work done my barrel hardly fouled and was really easy to clean. Now i shoot about 75+ rounds and I am getting some serious fouling. Is this normal? When I first got my barrel I looked thru it to see what all was different and I saw where the barrel was cut and it didn't look smooth. Is it possible my barrel wasn't polished after they did the barrel work? Thanks.
Toamaius D'Vignir It is possible something got missed. Send us your barrel and we'll take a look to be sure everything is proper, then we will return ship the barrel for free.
Cool, thanks. I think I am going to have to take you up on that. Should I clean the lead off, or send leaded barrel so you can see exactly what I mean about the fouling?
+Vang Comp Systems I decided to take you up and send my barrel to get checked out see if anything was missed. I decided to wait to I could run different ammo to see if that was the issue, but after rigorous testing I still believe it is the rough machine marks.
@@copperjarhead Yes, I sent it back and it came back polished. Still not honed as smooth as I would like, but barrel functions flawlessly and does what they advertise. Vang Comp Systems are a bunch of good guys. They just don't reply much to RUclips comments. Call them and it is a different story.
There are videos floating around on RUclips about people that bought the Vang Comp system and how they compare to factory barrels. They do hold tighter patterns, but it is not worth the money. Especially for the average homeowner. For law enforcement yeah maybe, but not somebody that's going to be using it for home-defense at across the bedroom/down the hallway distances.

Can this be done with a shotgun that has a breach tip on the front?

Can this system be installed on any shotgun?
They can do this service on any 12/20ga non-thin walled smooth bore barrel that is at least 14 inches long.
Would that include the Kel-Tec KSG? Unported....
wish we could just buy your brakes instead of having to send ours In :(
I'd like to see the comparison video. I don't' believe you.

This was your most camera friendly employee?
He represented himself and the company in a professional manner. You however, did not.
Can these be done on Winchester 1300 Home Defense Guns?
I have a Mossberg 590 and a Winchester 1300.
