The bridge looks really cool but I have a small suggestion that I think that would make it even better. What if you put small dirt blocks on the sides and plant some cherry blossom trees? I think it would look cool.

Josh I think a nice detail on the bridge would be to put a cherry tree on each of the 4 corners where the bridge meets the land either a full tree or put a sapling in a flower pot on top of the fence at the end parts of the bridge
Josh, with the bridge you can use gates for the rails. you have to place three gates beside each other and the middle one should rise up. you might need cobblestone walls at each end i'm not too sure.
