What single battery would I want in the trunk for a 7k amp?
370 alt and north star under the hood, 4 runs or 2/0 welding (2 power,2 ground) I think g34 what ever is standard for GM

Thank you for all the positive comments everyone. At the time this video was made my set up (back yard build by my wife and myself) was only two weeks old so I was not putting much power to the subs yet due to not being broken in yet. Also the amps were not tuned at all. I had a great time with the Team GP family and can't wait to meter again this summer. Have a great day and thanks again for all the positive feed back.

What were you wired at 1 ohm or .5 ohm ?
Cesar, I'm wired at 1/2 ohm. I absolutely love this amp, it is power hungry so make sure you have the electrical to support it. GP car audio can fix you up with all you need. Thanks for watching.
Nice ! What was voltage like with that agm 220?
Normally stays around 12.5 to 13 volts. I need to bypass the factory voltage regulator so I can get the most out of the GP 370 alternator and the Northstar 220. Thank you for the question, have a great day.

Wiring looks sick!!! I love my GP 1/0 Merica Copper wire and SMD copper duals. Sittin all pimp on the NorthStars. Thats the power trifecta for me...GP, SMD and NorthStar for the win!!!
These deaf bonce amps are something else not only do they come w the cool bass knobs. They have extra power and ground inputs, they look nice when you have all those wires going into them w some sky high heat shrink. They always do above rated and can sometimes do more power at higher voltage.yes they’re a little pricey but this is def a PREMIUM amp

Awesome set up. I have 2zxv 15v2 on 2 audiopipe 2ks with a 150 amp stinger alt and optima yellow under the hood and a stinger deep cell in the back cab of my f150. Best I’ve hit is a 155 even. It probably hits those higher numbers because it’s in an extended cab truck. Flexes my windshield hard and gets the windshield wipers going really good lol. I need dynomat BAD!! The back of the cab and roof is flexing like crazy!
Sound deadening will make a huge difference man. Noico is way cheaper on Amazon and comparable to Dynamite but not as good as GP's own stuff.

Where does voltage stay at full tilt
Voltage normally stays around 12.5 volts depending on the song I'm playing. Have had it as high as 15.8 volts and down to 11.3 volts when beating on it all day. I don't charge my batteries like I should or it would not drop like it does at times so that's on me not the equipment. Thanks for asking man.
So I'm looking for the best 2nd battery for my 2000 Tahoe. I have a a 370 Alt w Big 3. I'm running about 7600-8000 watts in total. Will I need a huge heavy ass XS D3100 or can I get a smaller 2nd battery? Please help all suggestions are welcome if positive
I am having amazing results with northstar batteries. They are compact in size, but powerful. GP car audio has everything you would need. Good luck and enjoy buddy.
Can I use a red Notthstar nsb100ft for caraudio? I found about 5 and want to know if I can use them for my system.

The battery is sealed. I have mine mounted behind the seat standing up, but could be played down as far as I know. May contact GP car audio to verify my understandings. Thanks for the question.

What battery is he running under the hood?
I am running two Optima Yellow top batteries under the hood currently, but will be changing over to Northstar batteries when replacement time comes. Thanks for asking.

Why is everyone over doing the power wires? You dont need 4 runs for 4k watts. Super unnecessary. Cant wait for this trend to be over.
Prob will upgrade soon anyway so why not do it once and future proof it?

I rather over do it just for extra piece of mind .. I don't want to even have to think about it..... Extra insurance why not. #WHY NOT

Lol nothing to do with being cool, its something to help you get first place in your class (as he did at this show) if you don't compete they may not be important to you. If you compete the gain on the meter vs money invested is cheap.
