could 2018 be the year?..:)) adults learn quickly and with a bit of resourcefulness & determination will get to a comfortable level in a few short years.
That's how it works in my school, since it's not a music school, those lessons are just some ekstra we pay for. Afterall, there's A LOT of pupils here, and a lot of them have these bonus classes. There's not enough teachers and time for anythiing longer than 15 mins. Unless we are willing to pay double, then we can 30 minutes. Of course, i practice myself at home too. But the lesson itself is only 15 minutes, once per week. On average, i've probably played about 10 minutes per day for those 8 years.
A real treat to see her progression from chubby baby fingers to elegant, talented hands, from a child into a beautiful young woman. One can see she loves to play...must put in a great many hours practicing. Thanks for posting.
I have to say this is a privilege to watch this progression, Miraculous ! see a lovely girl turn into a beautiful pianist , and she's also lucky to have a loving family !
Ashley Hernandez Your comment and pp... I wish you to become a strong and independent woman that can provide for her parents and pay your own piano and lessons !
This is just so beautiful, what a great video. I also started playing in 2007 and never stopped since. I wish my dad did the same. That's a wonderful gift, thank you for sharing
Incredible! She has blossomed into a beautiful young woman with incredible talent! I hope my daughters will follow this path as well. I am a pianist of 28 years and counting
You have all the rights to be proud ! It’s not about what she plays , it’s about determination and sense of fulfillment ! She is enjoying herself in front of a beautiful instrument and you are proud of her . Great work both of you !
„Wow you’re so good at playing the piano! What’s your secret?“ „Practice.“ „Wooow, I wish I was as talented as you so I could also learn to play the piano! How do you do it!!??“ „Practice.“ Such a rare gift!! Real talent is so mysterious! YOU ARE SO TALENTED“ -_- smh
As a fellow pianist, but of only about 8 years, I am amazed by her air of confidence while performing. I get so anxious, that I cannot go one performance without missing at least 5 notes. Don't even get me started on shaky arms while performing on the violin. Bravo!
Marissa Playfair so true. I have only had one recital where I didn't feel nervous....I still managed to screw it up though😂. I had this one state competition where I learned a piece that was way too advanced for me (rachmaninoff to be exact). I was too proud (or nervous) to ask my teacher for help, and I didn't give myself enough time to learn the piece to an acceptable level. Needless to say that+nerves created a horrible performance that I cringe thinking about to this day. That is my awkward piano story for the day that no one asked for😂
I can play better. Im learning in mus. school for 2 years, and play better than she in 10 YEARS ( actually im learning in basic school, but already with music) And sorry, my english isnt best, because im russian
Um sorry do you even know what's talent? If only the piano speaks your language, he would acuse the hell out of you for underestimating the piano. It's such a pity that the piano isn't comprehended and known in the right way.
OK I have to say. That's a pretty cool video going though each year!!! And the bowes at the end. One after another.... So cool you were able to gather and put those all together.
It's nice to see a real piano progress video. There are so many fake progress videos but this is the real deal. I just started last week at the age of 45 and if I can be as talented as your daughter after 10 years of practice that would be great.
That ending!! This is amazing, she is very talented and how wonderful that you documented it all. Seriously, something to treasure. I am sooooo doing this for my daughter, so far just one recital last year because everything was cancelled COVID this year, but more to come!
@@biffii5568 I started playing when I was a kid because my parents payed for lessons. I live in a small town where there aren’t many options so we stayed with her. I stopped when I got older and I realized that both my teacher wasn’t the best but also I had family problems that side tracked me from playing. I play occasionally now and have bought piano books for independent practice.
Wow! This video is completely inspirational. Only if you play piano or other instrument you know about the difficulties and the worth of all the efforts made during those ten years. Bravo!
A bunch of these songs are ones I listen to all the time, so that was pretty neat! Thanks for sharing her progress. It's always very in encouraging and great to see. :)
Wow, what a great video! So good of you to share the progress of such a talented and beautiful young piano student. It gives me hope for myself, as I am only in my second year, and now I see that it takes time and practice to become an accomplished pianist. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story!
WOWWWW!!! I've been playing piano since age 8 and have been teaching 16 years, and I must say that she is an amazing player piano player. I've never seen a player piano player like her! #AbbaLovesYou lol! ;) Seriously, though, she's great. You're right to be proud. :)
She was so basic... I surpassed her even though I’ve been playing for only 4 years... I’m onto Chopin ballads no 1 and Revolutionary etude... I’m sorry but she’s got 0 talent. There is no talent. It’s just practice... fucking smh... 😂😂 she’s so bad for the time. And you better be having a laugh with ur stupid comment.
Shivan Smyth I do agree with u on her being pretty basic but don't u think it was kinda harsh to say she has zero talent? Like I get that it doesn't have that wow factor and personally I didn't think the performances were stunning but still it's just kinda insensitive to put her down like that. That's just my opinion, no hate or anything.
N Glace yes I guess I see that. Personally I just felt like when I went to click on this I was expecting results if you feel me? Not putting her down but coming from me for example teaching an advanced standard of piano playing in 4 Years, (playing Chopin etudes and ballades) I really feel it’s pretty bad. Just given the time. Practice clearly was not something she did religiously and did not aim to improve that way. But I take your point.
This vídeo is awesome! :) Congrats to your daughter! I am starting piano at the age of 23, from the very zero! I hope I will have a good progress like she did!
I dont like modern music on the piano so much but it was beutiful . The moonlight sonata bravo I loved it . I will say to you something . Try to play classical music because they (managers, organizators) take only those who play classical music . Play Chopin (mostly him),Debussy, C.V. Alkan (he is harder),... Good luck 😊😊😊☺☺☺😀
Good work my dear. ..you're highly dedicated to the piano.. continue practicing. I've been playing for a very long time but don't beautiful videos like this to show. Don't get discouraged by all these people. The piano is indeed a unique instrument. well-done
I really enjoyed watching this! This year, I've been playing the piano for 10 years too! You never really notice the improvement of your hand position, posture and the focus of your eye-line until it is pointed out to you by someone else! I particularly loved your renditions of "Dancing Queen" and Beethoven's "Mozart Sonata". :)
very talented, I would really recommend looking into more challenging pieces and study music theory, I only have been playing for a year and a half and being open to criticism definitely helps you learn more as a musician.
This is beautiful! I really want to start playing the piano right now I’m just practising on an old keyboard I’m hoping one day I’ll be a great pianist Btw what’s the song at (2:08?)
Dedication to the art..support from parents.. beauty in the execution ..being myself a player for over 50 years without training ( playing by ear only ) ..I'd would have love to see her play without the sheets to evaluate her musicality .
I'll have been playing ten years in January 2019. I wish I had done something like this when I started. Also, I wasn't even able to use the pedal until two years ago😂
That was so beautiful, thank you for sharing and congratulations! I'd be great if you add the titles on the description, at least the one played on december 2014, it's beautiful! 7:26
really wish i started an instrument so young
Me too!
you can progress
Ryan Fierros same :(
Same :(
could 2018 be the year?..:)) adults learn quickly and with a bit of resourcefulness & determination will get to a comfortable level in a few short years.
She better than me after 4 years. I've been playing for 8.... *Cries in the corner*
Haha, thanks :) I've on been playing on-off though, with only one 15 minute lesson per week. Looks like she's putting a bit more into it.
You have to practice on your own time. 15 minutes per lesson is hardly enough to even sit down and exchange pleasantries!

Uhhh... you made that kinda creepy...
MinecraftBoy4237 I’ve noticed that any video with a woman in it, men will always comment about her looks. It can never be just about their playing.
@@Gamebreaker08 I'm a woman and I don't think the comment was that..odd. It unsettled me a bit, but I do see where they're coming from.
CHUBBY!?!?!
@@Gamebreaker08 not really about, it was a really nice compliment about how she went from a little kid to a beautiful and talented lady
I’ve been doing piano for 7 years now, and I still make some mistakes, although I keep trying to not forget.

Sophie B same and I’m grade 5
Sophie B at least you guys have the opportunity!! I'm the one in the corner crying that my parents can't even have enough money for the bills

DALAD Doherty-Madrigal OMG same I’m in Grade 5 and barely know how to play
Went from Jingle bell to Chopin’s nocturnes. Awesome!!! Also your daughter has become truly stunningly beautiful! You must be so proud.
And ended on Yanni 👏
I’m so proud of her and she’s not even my daughter. I can only imagine how proud you must be.
Its amazing how fast time flies once one has children! I'm learning first hand! Thanks for sharing!

I been playing piano my whole fucking life and she's better than me after 3 years
Bye
Greets from England, I just started learning at the ripe old age of 35, this was awesome
A full list of all of the pieces would be great

It’s never too late to learn. Bravo for starting❤️

One of the best parts is you can see how much she enjoys it from the beginning until the last clip
I have no experience with piano so I can't really judge, but she was good the whole time _and she grew so beautifully ❤️️_
So inspiring to see someone dedicate this amount of time and hard work into something they love. I really enjoyed this!
Your daughter is very hard working and talented! Beautiful as well! I'm sure her partner in life will be very lucky to grow old with her. :)
A) Amazing work
B) THE DRESSES NEAR THE END OMG
this vid makes me so grateful that i started piano at a young age, thanks to my mum :)
Talented and beautiful - you can be proud!
I've been playing piano for about ten years and I still suck because I had a terrible teacher so I stopped I'm so jealous
If you realized your teacher was not allowing you to progress, why stay?
It means you are really not interested in playing piano.
