To carry bad players: 1) Don’t flame, it doesn’t help 2) Type in mid-late game. Make calls like “I go bot, group 4 push mid into top” or whatever 3) Ping objectives AT LEAST 1 minute in advance and probably say “x, reset for item before dragon” 4) none of that shit mattered just be really good lol

Got my course 1 from alois, its like content thats avaible but with 3 additional layers wich is very hard to find. Its definately worth the money and really good fundamentals

This is legit my team 60%+ of every game I play Garen. I mean some games I can be 11/0 and still lose because all teammates went invade enemy jungle for blue buff at 35 min and died... I like most when there is only one single enemy who is fed because Garen isn't super good at killing multiple targets so having one enemy you know you need to save ult for is great. And I really miss the villain system because of it :( Kinda giving up on Garen completely because there are just too many games where you have to 1v5 which other toplane champs can actually do. Stopped an enemy team by my nexus towers from ending yesterday with Urgot by killing three and leaving the rest low for my team to mop up when they spawned. He just dish out ridiculous amounts of damage that guy. Trundle also great but only if they have at least one tank to steal stats from.
Trundle is more like a splitpusher, just play him in a style of Yorick, Nasus, Tryndamere, Fiora. Never teamfiighting (or barely), just demolishing turrets etc. That is the whole gameplan for this type of champions in my oppinion (and venturing off from that is a mistake in my view).
He wouldve won this if he played well though. I promise you if he plays Riven he'd win, and its NOT because of the champ diff, its because hes much much better at Riven, almost all of his mistakes are to do with playing Garen this game, it really shows that hes a better player but not as used to his champ

You overthink Garen. Perfect Garen = Conq + Ignite -> Boots/Trinity -> Trinity/Boots -> Reminder (if antiheal needed ex. Olaf, Aatrox, etc)/ Hull -> (if u had to buy antiheal first) Hull -> Stride/BC -> BC/Stride - Steraks if ur game is that long and u need more survi / Deadmans plate if ur team sucks hard and ur only option is to split push, delete 1 guy and run away. Phase rush garen only vs Darius (managable with conq) + rangeds (still managable with conq, just go ghost/flash or play around ur flash and always kill with flash ignite R combo, if you can't 100% kill and u will just waste ur flash, take ghost/flash = more options) You can't lose vs Olaf as Garen if you have conq + ignite. You always win, early win with R, mid game win with Trinity + Reminder, late game u still win, just bait his R, if not possible, u will still 90% win with Trinity - Reminder - BC/Stride/Steraks, if u missplay, u can lose, before you can't. GM 2mil Garen here. Me garen, me no brain, me strong, me kills, me happy. If you play phase rush vs bruisers/tanks, you have fast legs to run away, but no power to kill them without overplaying them, you have to think, proxy, etc. With conqueror u don't think, u just kill, simple as Garen. No brain Garen = Happy Garen. Also phantom dancer is overrated on Garen, one of the biggest baits imo. Deadmans is agood mobility item if u really need that extra mobility with your Conq + Ignite Garen. For me Deadmans is a better option if you want to play Phase Rush, just don't. Go conq and buy Deadmans instead = you're good. With that extra mobility hullbreaker + ur Q, ure more than happy. If you went ghost for some reason, you're a walking canc** with power to delete everyone on the map and run away. Don't overthink Garen. Garen is a simple man, powerhouse, not a crossfitter. Also people used to play stride to catch enemies, but rarey I see someone striding someone, just to click Q and say bye bye (especially with deadmans), you can outrun multiple guys with this method and you don't lose your powerhouse 1 v 1 potential to kill everyone. Phase Rush sucks (play only vs rangeds/Darius or be a man and go conq ghost/flash instead) EDIT: One more thing I noticed in this video, you use your Q before olaf use his Axe, why? If he hits you with the axe, you remove slow with Q and still don't give a fk about his extra armor pene, because u have ur W. Pro tip - Always try to start combo with E, instead of Q if possible = after E your Q does more dmg because of extra armor reduce from E. Your Q hits like a truck after E.
