I tried jayce top and was always useless and had no impact in mid-late. I then tried him mid and learned to dominate with him and roam to sidelanes, gonna try and use this guide to optimize him for top lane as well. Thanks!

man you must be absolutely horrid with the champion, im trash at him but ive taken him top multiple times (phase rush or conq) and had a lot of success
a lot of the toplaners you can just suffocate with pressure, not to mention phase rush allows for some disgusting gragas level short trades.
i legit SHAT on aatrox's by getting hit by Q1, then jumping in on q2, full hammer combo, then E swap cannon and finish off. or just wait out combos and do the opposite before he has Q back up, full cannon combo into hammer finish
