One of the most underrated bands. I remember when an Aussie mate came to South Africa around 2000 and played 'these days' . Started my love affair with the band.

One of those albums where memories come flooding back and what you were doing at the time...for me it was travelling in convoy in 3 semi trailer trucks as a start up heavy haulage business in the dark of night with no signage on the trucks(word gets around VERY quickly in that cut throat business) travelling from Melbourne to Brisbane strangely enough PF home town and listening to Triple J all the way up and hearing this bloody song "The day you come" that stuck in my head.Leaving Brisbane with 3 brand new low loader trailers and all new signage, the CB radio was running hot with "who's this and who's that in town" all the way back to Melbourne and when PF were on the radio I would put the CB handset close to the speaker and play "The day you come" over the airwaves....20 years on.....company still going and Powderfinger became my favourite band and still is. Miss you boys.

One of the best albums ever created for sure, they could have been the Australian Nirvana was if only they kept going. Great doco as well

It's so expensive to buy things from Australia especially shipping to America. Still love this band. Wish they could do just one more album :).

Internationalist was the best record they made. It’s great. Bernard looks like an old lesbian in a wig these days.
