Listern to this man, he a Legend who knows and understands what it takes to fix our failing country. Could not agree with Whitey more when he says he has no problem with Uncle Cyril, he has a problem with the structure and Beauracracy and corruption of those uneducated leaders who have no idea of managing. The counrty needs to be run like a business to strive. Small educated,skilled government supporting big business is the answer.
This is one uncle I would love to spend days getting mentorship of how to be great in life. He is such a wonderful person
We as a family dont live a fancy lifestyle where we worry about what do we drive or what not! I'm so impressed by that last part
It's quite sad that politicians in South Africa use successful business people as scapegoats for their incompetence and political system of patronage that encourages corruption at national, provincial and local government.
That is worrying me, instead of learning from the best they are using them wrongly and ppl are fighting for nothing🙄

Wow,what a gentleman and great personality.Pity that sum of shoprites management haven't learnt from him. You can see the compassion and business ethic that he has which has made shoprite/checkers who they are today.Hopefully his successors will learn from him and turn it around.

Amazing I worked for Ackerman as a teenager after he took over Pick n Pay from Goldman in Lands down.We were the colored check out boys in our red overcoats.Ackerman was a gentleman very considered for the times.

I like him when recommend tourism instead of manufacture because it chows your money while your sleep. Its true😘
This guy genuinely loves South Africa. He's not a doomsayer when it comes to the future of SA like other white people. He acknowledges that there are problems but believes they are fixable. Same thing with Christo Wiese. I like them. Other whites would have you believe you are living in a warzone akin to Somalia or Afghanistan
He is a brilliant man
