cause lego's way of thinking of making money is increasing the price of existing products instead of giving what consumers want 😂 but hey at least the customs market are making a killing
What I allways do is have my minifigs (yes even rare ones) posed around my shelves fighting, eating, hanging out, fighting again, and even fighting (yes my lego starwars collection is mostly war without the star) I think it’s the most fun to do and plus you can creatively put them in your other sets buildings and ships
That looks great, thanks for the tips👍🏽 There is actually a lot of space for creativity in displaying minifigs. I like to brick build a tiny scene around the minifigure, once I got a 2$ display case, it fits 8 minifigs with each their own little “habitat”
Hobby Lobby has similar clear plastic cases with a transparent base. Main benefit is that these relatively cheaper plastic cases keep the LEGO minifigures dust free.
I don't know the company but I own a case which is a similar size to this which has studs on the base and two smaller baseplate things which stack on top. I'm currently displaying all my batman figures in there.
I bought off brand base plates and stuck them to the wall and use circle studs on the back of their legs to attach them. Wall space I have a ton of, my limited shelf space is for the Lego sets!
A great way I store Minifigures is I take a tictac box and make sure its empty then take off the top (which is tricky) then put the Minifigure inside and close it then display it on a shelf. However it will not work for Minifigures with large accessories like back packs, certain armors
Neat idea. I had a different project I was working on but with all the cutting I was doing, I went and bought a paper cutter from Michaels so that I could always get straight edges. I made sure I used those 40% off coupons too.
I saw this video when you first released it, then like a week later I went to the Lego store and they have a container store in the same mall, so I decided to go grab some of these displays to give this a try! I came back to this video again to find some templates, and I see that you linked the creator’s website where more templates are available. Thanks for sharing this! I’m off to download some templates now!
As these cases are deeper, I have to find another place to display them. But it's probably worth it. It seems to save a lot of space. Thanks for the tip.
I hang them on a baseplate with the minifigure frames. It supports 5 rows of 5 for a total of 25 mini figures. Usually enough for a cmf. Some times I can squeeZe in 6 in a row as I. The case of my iron men suits and Batman suits. for 30 figures
I know I'm displaying my (according to my kid... "his") minifigures wrong, but the clear plastic bin that they're all tossed into with all the accessories was by far the easiest way to keep them all together 🤣🤣🤣
Great video! I have brick-built display stands for my figures and I've found that this works well whilst saving a lot of money - my stands use the 3x4 plates from the CMF line for each figure. I use cheap bulky parts (supports, old printed bricks, window frames etc) from bricklink for the inside of the structure, which also saves a lot. Haven't found a case the right size for my stands though so they need dusting regularly
Kmart Australia sells this exact thing but with really good gripping knock off lego studs and for 15 AUD. It means that its cheaper and comes with pre prepared studs. That’s what I use but this is cool as well. (It’s also light grey so if you hate brighter colours this isn’t for you.)
Literally was looking at displays for figs the other day cuz me and my gf are starting a collection and ebeyrbing was like just way too expensive. This is literally perfect!
I actually just bought the 150 minifig case specifically for my CMF series figs. I tried looking at places like Wicked Brick and a bunch others but didn't find a good solution that had similar style display for the series I have. Would be easier if each series had the same amount of figs. (Disney 1/2/3, HP 1/2, DFB, Marvel 1/2, & Looney Tunes)
Then there is me, just a grey big baseplate with the black minifigure stands upright between the plate studs with a 1 stud gap on both sides and 7 studs between each row. And ducktape on the back taped to the wall
@@Emmasaurus yes it is. I recently bought a frame with spots for Minifigs and have been thinking of making my own but doing a brick built background so I can add "movement" and do more of a scene then just a stand. We'll see 😂
I hate those official lego display cases for 16 Minifigures with the 4x4 grey plates.. bcoz most of the plates don’t stay and fall forward if you shake the case
Not sure how much of a silly goose you like to be when you're getting crafty, but a paper trimmer could be a good option for you when you want to cut out a lot of things like that quickly and neatly. You can pick one up for like 30 bucks at target, or you can get some pretty serious ones for more depending on how froggy you're feeling.
I didn’t know minifig displaying was such a big thing. Not that I have a huge collection, but the ones I do have collected I just sprinkle randomly into any of the Lego buildings/sets I have, make them apart of the little Lego world. Does make it so you gotta look to find them but I like making them do random stuff throughout Lego street lol.
It's a cool looking display case, but unfortunately for me I won't be getting any. There aren't any stores in my area and their online store won't ship to where I live in central New York 😔
In general I recommend just keeping any Lego (in a display case or not) away from direct sunlight. Most cases are meant for display and keeping dust off your Lego!
It's fun hunting for the Serie mf s I did a print out s on the computer of each Serie from Serie 1 up to. Ones we got atm . so I can tick of each time I get the figs. And it helps to know ..and what fig s are in each Serie s.👌 🙂👍
I buy all my minifigure display cases at Daiso (a 100 yen store from Japan)and I just stick lego plates to each staircase! The case is pretty good quality and made in Japan (at least the ones imported to Taiwan are) maybe you should get em out?
The ones I got in the U.S. are made in Japan too. I've been using them for all of my mini collectibles and they never disappoint. Fairly cheap too I would say. About 5 here in the U.S. for the big ones and 2 for the small ones.
One thing, I don't know why It doesn't even matter how hard you try Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme To remind myself of a time when I tried so hard In spite of the way you were mockin' me Actin' like I was part of your property Remembering all the times you fought with me I'm surprised it got so far Things aren't the way they were before You wouldn't even recognize me anymore Not that you knew me back then But it all comes back to me in the end You kept everything inside And even though I tried, it all fell apart What it meant to me will eventually Be a memory of a time when I I tried so hard and got so far But in the end, it doesn't even matter I had to fall to lose it all But in the end, it doesn't even matter One thing, I don't know why It doesn't even matter how hard you try Keep that in mind I designed this rhyme to explain in due time All I know Time is a valuable thing Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings Watch it count down to the end of the day The clock ticks life away It's so unreal You didn't look out below Watch the time go right out the window Tryin' to hold on, they didn't even know I wasted it all just to watch you go I kept everything inside And even though I tried, it all fell apart What it meant to me will eventually be a memory Of a time when I tried so hard
Which CMF series or minifig collection should I do next??
I definitely recommend series 4 and 5!
The marvel ones
Looney Tunes? That's a series that doesn't have any sets to display with them. Would make a good minifig-only display.
Definitely the Marvel CMF
Monster em that Kool. I collecting every Serie so I got 5 layer desplay case with built in Led lights 😊👌 Eazy ..
It's weird that Lego hasn't capitalized on this. Making custom displays for each collectible series.
cause lego's way of thinking of making money is increasing the price of existing products instead of giving what consumers want 😂 but hey at least the customs market are making a killing

Man this is A-mazing! Companies out here overcharging with ridiculous prices for no reason! This is a life saver for many. Thank you!
It's such a good option - plus, DIY is fun :)
I've used this display case for my LEGO Dimensions figures for years! I never thought about adding a background though! Great idea!
Same!
So happy I found this video!!!
That looks great, thanks for the tips👍🏽

This is brilliant! I love those colors for the scooby display. Perhaps adding lights will make it even better.

This has turned out amazing.
Love the new editing and thumbnail
Briljant! Love to see the Lego Dimensions ones also included
look great! thats a great display for minifigs
Omg thank you! I am at the container store right now getting several of these.

Love this idea Emily!! Thank you for this guide streamlining the process, I can’t wait to try it out 😁

I just spend the extra money at wicked brick.
Yea Wicked Brick is really good with displays, but this is cheaper
Agreed the displays are good, but if someone is on a budget and doesn’t want to wait 4 months for delivery this is a great option.
Girl, I wish I had that space oh my gosh.
If you’re in Australia go to Kmart and get a mini fig display case for $13, They fit heaps

Def gonna try one of these with all my ninjago villains and goons
Thanks for the inspiration
Omg!! I want one of those skeleton head containers!! I have the regular yellow head one and I love it. I haven't seen a skelly one before!
As these cases are deeper, I have to find another place to display them. But it's probably worth it. It seems to save a lot of space.
Thanks for the tip.
Love this idea!! Thanks!
These look awesome! Another option instead of taping the LEGO minifigure baseplates would be to use the brick tape that some 3rd parties sell
I was wondering could you stack those if you had more then one.
I hang them on a baseplate with the minifigure frames. It supports 5 rows of 5 for a total of 25 mini figures. Usually enough for a cmf. Some times I can squeeZe in 6 in a row as I. The case of my iron men suits and Batman suits. for 30 figures
Wow, I legit has this exact display open in another tab on Amazon and was debating buying it. Just pulled the trigger after this vid, love it.
That is amazing!! might consider doing that in the future
I know I'm displaying my (according to my kid... "his") minifigures wrong, but the clear plastic bin that they're all tossed into with all the accessories was by far the easiest way to keep them all together 🤣🤣🤣
I cannot believe this video just revealed the technique I've been using for years.

Wow, thanks Emma for this perfect idea. My Minifigures was waiting for it so long time 😅
You get them also ready made on Amazon for $14,99 (Display Case for Minifigures Action)
Just started building one today! Literally perfect timing 😂
Looks great, Emma!

Same in UK, I do exact same thing. Glad to see you guys get them too. 👍🏻
you are a hero! Thank you for this video and the links!
They sell that display case with steps with Lego studs built in on Amazon UK for about £14 each, do they not sell them there? That’s what I use
Very nice. Thanks for sharing this wonderful idea!
That does look great! I have a few random minis that need a proper home.
Thanks for sharing. It looks like you can get more figures in a smaller space
I wonder if there are some where the minifigures can sit to lessen the chances of cracking.
Only drawback is the larger footprint, but yes it looks a lot better
Looks awesome!
Literally was looking at displays for figs the other day cuz me and my gf are starting a collection and ebeyrbing was like just way too expensive. This is literally perfect!
I have been contemplating this for weeks
This is amazing! Thank you 😊
Awesome work!

I have some like these but a bit shorter. For model and die cast cars.
Good usage!
Literally such a good solution
And it's literally $12. I was prepared to go broke trying to give my minifigs a home that isn't a shoe box
Seriously! I might even do this today, gotta update my Harry Potter display.
This display looks awesome! Great idea.
You should do the muppets next
You can also get the exact same thing but with "LEGO" studs already on them on amazon for about the same price
That is an incredibly great idea. Thank you for sharing.
Looks great! A little bulky for me with limited shelf space though. :( I'll stick to my DAISO display cases
i love my daiso cases!
@@eddiejaimes5259 Same! I've been using them for years and they're still great
Very cool. Great idea.
Absolutely perfect - thanks!
Looks good! (I use minifigs as scenery in my city tho, lol)
This is a great solution!
This is great. And I love the container store so even better 😂. Thanks
I always spend so much money there but it's so worth it!!
@@Emmasaurus yes it is. I recently bought a frame with spots for Minifigs and have been thinking of making my own but doing a brick built background so I can add "movement" and do more of a scene then just a stand. We'll see 😂
Emily- this is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Thanks girl! I'm excited to add my entire Minifigure collection to these!
Nice!
Absolutely love this, thanks for sharing!
Love this Scooby Doo display! Amazing idea and great video tutorial 😊👍
how do you display like the spider-man vulture with the wings???
I hate those official lego display cases for 16 Minifigures with the 4x4 grey plates.. bcoz most of the plates don’t stay and fall forward if you shake the case
I’m curious to know what LED lights those are on the shelf. I need something like that for my Billy bookshelf

I’ve used that container before, it’s pretty useful, but unfortunately I somehow never found use for it. I probably should do something with it.
Try it out! It works really well for minifigs!
Your Super Mario World shirt is awesome!
I love this so much I want to do it now, even though I don't have that many minifigs yet. 😅
You can always start somewhere :) These display containers are good for other collectibles as well!
Brilliant!
@04:41 Allright... Who has a household with no scissors in it that can afford such a collection of *_LEGO_* figures? 🤨
It's a cool looking display case, but unfortunately for me I won't be getting any. There aren't any stores in my area and their online store won't ship to where I live in central New York 😔
This is great! Thank you so much!
So much better.
You can get one of those that Already have studs on Amazon.
I like both.
It looks great 👍🤩😎
These are cool but I've always wondered with these dissplays how do you protect them from sunlight and discoloration?
In general I recommend just keeping any Lego (in a display case or not) away from direct sunlight. Most cases are meant for display and keeping dust off your Lego!
I'm displaying mine on a custom, multilayered display build out of lego, so wdym "You're Displaying Your LEGO Minifigs Wrong"
I love your creativity... But don't really like it cuz the new one needs more space than before. Greeting from Indonesia, Emma!
Honestly I buy a IKEA frame for 25€ and stick some 2x2 brick on it and boom I can display 100+ minifig X)

I followed the link and I don’t see the Scooby doo background on the site anymore 😢
Well, I have a new project to work on now!
One thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To remind myself of a time when I tried so hard
In spite of the way you were mockin' me
Actin' like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I'm surprised it got so far
Things aren't the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me in the end
You kept everything inside
And even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually
Be a memory of a time when I
I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
One thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme to explain in due time
All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
It's so unreal
You didn't look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Tryin' to hold on, they didn't even know
I wasted it all just to watch you go
I kept everything inside
And even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory
Of a time when I tried so hard
You are the best RUclipsr ever
Great video Emily have a great weekend
How big is the box? Because maybe you can even use them for small sets
Very cool!
