- Lady Colin Campbell met Princess Diana when she was 17 before she was with Prince Charles, she recalls her not even being very memorable. Being 12 years her senior, Lady C was always kind to Diana when she started dating Charles, she already knew how difficult this world she was entering could be.

Lady C is often said to be controversial but she doesn’t believe this to be case. She believes that because she did many things first, and in some forms a bit of a maverick, this is why she was and is seen as controversial, but she is actually very measured as a person.
When Lady C wanted to write a book about Diana she had to get permission. At first Diana was on board but it later transpired that Diana wanted to use this as a way to get out of the royal family which made Lady C very hesitant and nervous. She was going to pull out after finding out Diana was lying about many things, but she ended up still releasing it as knew if she didn’t Diana would have her story published by someone else and would ruin the Prince of Wales reputation.
Lady C started to hear lots of bad things around Meghan Markle from well-established sources, from Royals and Royal staff. After some time many started to worry about the control she had of Harry and his welfare.
Inspiration and content for Lady C’s writing has always come rather naturally to her. Even when she has struggled she has been able to see it through and further down the line she can never tell what aspects/areas she struggled with and those she didn’t. Everything always flows as it should.
Lady C believes, without a doubt, that the world is too soft and politically correct now. She says it is a sign of a decadent civilisation, that we are a civilisation in decline and too many people expect things to be given and handed to them rather than making their own life for themselves.
Man is inclined to abuse. We need to re-evaluate how we are living in our world and societies at the moment. It is not sustainable, we should look back at some of the old ways of doing things and change things whilst we still have the time to do so.

I never heard of him, but I was impressed. Great interview of Lady C that I most recently found on her site speaking about the Royals. She is intelligent and tells the truth about the despicable mm and h without using foul language or getting too angry and loud. I enjoyed learning more about her. She teaches us great life lessons and at 77 that's amazing. May your boys and you be blessed, Lady C. You are a great role model...From a blessed American from the Midwest who has followed the life of Queen Elizabeth and love her and the British people.

Lady C’s book the real Diana is a must read !
Absolutely. I am of the view that without its "never complain, never explain" mantra, the RF would be in danger of turning itself into a soap opera. But as we've seen recently with the Oprah and other interviews, this mantra left certain royals free to take liberties and present a very one-sided story, which is unfortunate. I am interested in history, not celebrity, and feel that Lady C's book on both Diana and the Queen Mother really do need to be read to get a less mythical, more factual picture of both characters.

He has an entire series called Harry's wife a less than Royal narcissist as well as many others videos. Lady C talks about narcissism because her mother was one. She also says that everyone with good self esteem has a bit of narcissism within them, and I agree with that too.
If you had've listened to the end, you would have learned quite a bit about her Mom.
Yep. Those sums were definitely exaggerated. There is no way they have received 18 million pounds from Spotify and only have delivered one podcast since last December.
But that is nonsense. Narcissist usually have a fragile self esteem and therefore need constant validation by others.
Only if are emotionally well balanced with a good self esteem you are able to stand back and let others have the spotlight.

@@Celisar1 Yes but the root of narcissism is love of oneself. You have to love yourself a little bit to be able to live happily and contribute to the world. That is what she means. But when it's taken to the extreme like anything else it is extremely destructive. Narcissism usually arises from someone who loves themselves too much and expects the whole world to love them as much as they do, so when the world inevitably doesn't, they become extremely insecure in themselves and lash out at others; it's very paradoxical.
@@Celisar1 It’s true what Lady C says about narcissism. It’s actually not that easy to be diagnosed with a personality disorder like Narcissistic PD. One has to be more to the extremes to be be diagnosed. Most people have one or two traits of a narcissistic personality but it’s hardly noticeable or it’s actually part of what makes them funny or charming or successful. I describe those types, as people who suffer with high self esteem. In a fun loving way. These personality disorders are also over used as labels nowadays and the majority of time when someone labels someone else as being ADD or OCD or NPD, they’re absolutely dead wrong. It’s an interesting topic but it can be confusing unless you really do your research. One more example: There’s also a difference between narcissistic personality and histrionic personality (the me me me disease)...I have done lots of research because I enjoy it and I have a few personality issues myself. We all do. Some good and some troublesome. All the best to you.

EVERY time Lady C talks about Diana she makes SURE to talk of her having a lover but NEVER talks of Charles's lover being AT THEIR WEDDING and Diana being aware of it. AND Diana catching him on the phone with Camilla while on their honeymoon. I understand that Charles and Camilla loved each other and were more suited and their love has stood the test test of time. Diana was USED as a virgin to produce heirs. The queen desired it. Period. Charles never really loved her. That made her histrionic and dramatic. Very depressed and anxious. Total disaster. I would want out too!

If Harry and his wife had never done the Oprah interview, I would’ve never come across the lovely, articulate and honest Lady C. I’ve watched every video since and even all of hers prior to after the interview. She even answered my question in her last video posted before today: “Lady C, we hear a lot of hypotheticals about what happens if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge pass away, but what will happen to Archie and Lily if Harry and his wife die?” What an oh my gosh moment. What an amazing woman! So glad the algorithm offered this to me. I am a subscriber to Lady C’s channel because I value her good research and incisive comments, but this interview gave me an insight into the woman herself. I also admire your interview style - you asked the “right” questions, but still managed to keep it non-confrontational. I think there are many on MSM who could learn from watching your technique.

Me too and I also have some that are over 150 yrs old having belonged to my grandmother who had them handed down to her by her grandmother. I was using them regularly until someone mentioned a bowl I was using, when making bread, was worth a several hundred dollars now since it's a rare antique. I was dumbfounded LOL I was making bread in a bowl worth as much as my car payment. That bowl is now put up in a very safe place where it will be safe until my granddaughter starts her own family and I can hand it down to her for safe keeping and continue the heirloom passing tradition.

Lady C has reached an age where one is obviously more profound and has a lot of life experience, River is still young but his character is interesting and I follow his RUclips channel, as well as that of Lady C.

I agree with you Toni. I also admire Lady C. I know if she did not have to work to keep Castle Goring in the black she would enjoy a quiet social life among her aristocratic and well to do friends. She is a survivor and is doing what she needs to do to make her life and her sons lives as comfortable and enjoyable as she can manage. I wish her all the luck.

I want her to find happiness in her personal life too whether that be a gentleman friend or living it up with her friends, aristocratic or not. She DESERVES it!
