As a laptop technician I can definitely tell his answer would be Intel because I know a laptop which is runs on Pentium 4 still runs perfectly with 2GB DDR2 RAM
AMD is an old monk. But Ryzen is new. It heats because,the cores and threads are higher. Buyer needs to know how to run it properly. Intel lost it's 40% market share due to Ryzen.

Very nice and unique video. With due respect I tend to differ. Based on my observations and personal experience, Dell and HP are the last choices that I would make. Especially when it comes to laptops, Dell and HP has probably the highest failure rate among all the others sold in India but still majority ends up buying these just because they have better marketing, better hold on dealers since they give them better margins and of course better service network which assures customers and gives a piece of mind. Speaking of product quality, Dell and HP are on top of the list when it comes to percentage products failed. With both Dell and HP it is hard to find a person who is using the laptop without a single issue in first 2 years. Whereas if you consider same number with others like Asus, Sony (discontinued), Toshiba (discontinued) etc. (many more) this failure rate is much less. Also design issues like poor thermal design, low quality parts (electronic) have been very common especially with HP lower segment laptops. When a brand becomes hot selling it is majorly due to better presence in offline market. In past few years online has made it possible for every small brand to sell their products to masses. Earlier era was dominated by those who were able to capture dealers and Dell and HP are the kings of that era. Also one more important point, offline sellers always prefer brands with better service just because most of the times customers approach them when there is issue with the product.
I still remember purchasing my first laptop dell inspiron n5050 dual core on the 23rd feb 2012.and had to replace the battery after 7 years and did a thorough cleanup reapplying the thermal paste 3 years ago and guess what 11 years and its still working fine. Ryzen is great in terms of performance and cost but intel will last you long brother . In the end according to my experience the longivity of the laptop depends on how much the user takes care of it.

I can say Intel I have an Pentium 4 and Celeron for almost 15 years! My AMD one died after 6 years... Love Intel! I'm not a gamer, atleast I don't play PUBG or Fortnite, only some OG games like GTA and some other titles. Intel always is good. AMD is just better for gamers, but for others, it's a horse, but they want to carry salt. It's better to buy a donkey. Why unnecessarily buy a horse, other case a person cannot race on a donkey. While with Lenovo once you buy unless some very rare cases , you have a future proof laptop , it will last at least 4 years + more according to silicon lottery. Lenovo has the best and durable Laptop hinges .
For you I recommend Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 . Buy when there is a discount sale so you may get a good discount online. This model is for Performance+ Medium Gaming + Durability + Affordable+ medium build quality( good if you care for it) + Low Heat issues unless very rare cases. Only downside or rather less feature packed is it's battery which will last 2 hours on normal work without gaming

I can say Intel I have an Pentium 4 and Celeron for almost 15 years! My AMD one died after 6 years... Love Intel! I'm not a gamer, atleast I don't play PUBG or Fortnite, only some OG games like GTA and some other titles. Intel always is good. AMD is just better for gamers, but for others, it's a horse, but they want to carry salt. It's better to buy a donkey. Why unnecessarily buy a horse, other case a person cannot race on a donkey. Intel vs AMD.

Lenovo will be more future proof . HP ,dell, Asus , acer, msi are more advertised because if you have laptop of these four companies then you will have to repair them more than 3 times in 1st purchase year due to heating , broken hinges or other malfunctions. While with Lenovo once you buy unless some very rare cases , you have a future proof laptop , it will last at least 4 years + more according to silicon lottery. Lenovo has the best and durable Laptop hinges .
For you I recommend Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 . Buy when there is a discount sale so you may get a good discount online. This model is for Performance+ Medium Gaming + Durability + Affordable+ medium build quality( good if you care for it) + Low Heat issues unless very rare cases. Only downside or rather less feature packed is it's battery which will last 2 hours on normal work without gaming
