Masaki Endoh is a nice character but my favorite will still be Crowe Brust from the Super Robot Wars Z series (he's in Z2 and Z3), he and the mecha Brasta are awesome...
Katoma Mundara The F Final Mazinkaiser is actually Mazinger Z evolved through Getter rays while the Alpha is that it's the first Mazinger prototype Juuzo built but then locked it away. I'm pretty sure this is Alpha Kaiser.
The lack of any Getter Robo at all is probably the most surprising part about all of this for me. I thought they would've at least put Armageddon in again. I'm really happy that Reconguista in G is debuting here. Hopefully they'll be able to fix the pacing issues the original series had due to its length.
We have Gurren Lagann, Mazinkaiser, Zero and Hi Nu in the same game. What a fucking world we live in. Regardless, this is a super cool looking cast. Glad Seed and 00 are taking a break and that Crossbone and Mightgaine are sticking around.
Deep inside, I was hoping for Tekkaman and Brain Powerd to return. Hyped for F91, Hi-Nu (and the eventual Nightingale) though, I hope we get an SRW version of "Eternal Wind."

Code Geass has returned! Jeremiah Gottwald and Bright Noa, in the same game! Now comes the wait, to see if they repeat Z2, but in HD. It's also very kickass to see Gurren Lagann back, and to see Dunbine, F91, and Mazinkaiser, in this glorious animation style. Nadia looks incredibly awesome, and my dream of seeing Reconguista in G fixed up is nearing fruition. Let's just see how much Banpresto can bring joy and hope to it's fans, again.
I got hype seeing Jeremiah! I wish they gave his mecha and let him be a good guy since he ended the series on Zero's team. But it looks like he'll be an NPC :(
We've yet to see if that's the case. Again, it has the chance to be like Z2, completely overwriting Zero Requiem. Another thing I like is that the Black Knights are gonna fight against Neo Zeon, possibly the Titans, as well.
What the Black Knights need to do is fix Cross Ange. They would really want blood for what they do to the Norma. And perhaps Lelouch or his sister Nunally teach the brat Sylvia a thing or two about spoilage.

Cons: For a fantasy setting SRW there is a severe lack of fantasy mecha series, Linebarrels, Escaflowne, Aquarion, Gargantia, and Star Driver, just to name a few The UC Gundams and Wing could easily be switched in for another Gundam series more fitting to the theme. G, IBO, Turn A, SD, hell even the 00 Movie is a better fit for this setting compared to wing Replaced Getter with Gurren Lagann, despite the fact that New Getter Robo fits the theme pretty well. Pros: Better animation for everyone Mazinkaiser, Hi-Nu (which means a possibility for Nightingale) The new series additions Gurren Lagann returning Cybuster No more SEED
G and IBO does not fit since it is about a world governed by magic or some sort of stuff (although probably except Turn A due to storyboard settings, gundams and reals just don't really fit very well anyway). Wing probably works because how fantasy like the Wing Zero is, but not sure how are they going to put all that OVA stuff into it without making it all awkward.
Watch the clip featuring Mazinger Zero again. The portrait isn't Koji, but for Mazinger Zero itself. I'm gonna wager the plot will go like so: 1. Mazinger Z turns into Zero somehow, but Koji manages to escape before that happens. 2. Koji somehow gets Mazinkaiser, while Tetsuya gets Mazin Emperor G. 3. They beat the crap out of Zero with the help of their friends. Zero either gets destroyed or gives up on destroying the world.
It's weird to have Mazinkaiser and Mazinger Zero together in one game. Which is the upgrade? If by sheer power, Zero would be the step up, so is Kaiser a mid season upgrade? It would have made sense if it's Mazinkaiser Skull instead since there would not be much reason to use Kaiser if Zero is there. Unless Zero is just the bad guy or Kaiser morph to Zero. Also it is weird to write Zero when there is like 2 or 3 other things that refer to "zero" in the game. It's exciting to see Zero and Gurren Lagann together, but I would've wanted the superstars like Getter Emperor, Genesis Gaogaigar and Gunbuster to be in there as well. I even would get a freaking Vita for that line up. Although, seeing G-reco already suck half the excitement. Ho boy, how are they going to fix that fuck up, I wonder...
Possible. Since if Shin Mazinger turns Zero somehow without a pilot, then Kouji is left robot-less, so Mazinkaiser had to come out. But stil that left out Kaiser pilot-less when Kouji upgrades to Zero (i doubt Zero is enemy only), which is a minor nitpick for me since Kaiser is quite awesome. Well, maybe Boss can pilot it and change the name to Boss Borotiser or better yet Tengen Toppa Shin Borotiser.
What I feel is gonna happen is you will have to fight lelouch as a villain again, since Jeremiah in his anti geass mode pilots the orange mobile as an atagomist

To say nothing of how many older game it was in. I actually like Gundam Wing, but it is kinda overkill. I think they just include the Wing and 00 movies to pad out the roster really, after all they are short stories with a large number of mechs to use.

I'm still laughing at how everyone was going "Yeah, they're finally going to put IBO in!" And I was just sitting there like, "What about G-Reco?" I mean seriously, I think there's only like five people who actually remembered that G-Reco existed.
I don't mind the number of debuts so much as I do the number of series that have just recently been in an srw. Like I was stoked when I saw Dunbine in here, but then you lost me when I saw Cross Ange and Daitarn 3 again.
Cross A has only been in one game, so I don't see the problem. D3 is getting overused at this point---unless they actually bring back the story. At least Macross Frontier, Gundam 00 and Seed Destiny are *finally* sitting out a game----though the old filler champion Endless Waltz came back to take their place. I'm more disappointed they didn't bring back either Neo or New Getter, who haven't been in a game in nearly (or over) a decade. We've been on the Armagedon train long enough, but it seems they've forgotten these two exist.

Cons:
For a fantasy setting SRW there is a severe lack of fantasy mecha series, Linebarrels, Escaflowne, Aquarion, Gargantia, and Star Driver, just to name a few
The UC Gundams and Wing could easily be switched in for another Gundam series more fitting to the theme. G, IBO, Turn A, SD, hell even the 00 Movie is a better fit for this setting compared to wing
Replaced Getter with Gurren Lagann, despite the fact that New Getter Robo fits the theme pretty well.
Pros:
Better animation for everyone
Mazinkaiser, Hi-Nu (which means a possibility for Nightingale)
The new series additions
Gurren Lagann returning

No more SEED

G and IBO does not fit since it is about a world governed by magic or some sort of stuff (although probably except Turn A due to storyboard settings, gundams and reals just don't really fit very well anyway).
Wing probably works because how fantasy like the Wing Zero is, but not sure how are they going to put all that OVA stuff into it without making it all awkward.

Watch the clip featuring Mazinger Zero again. The portrait isn't Koji, but for Mazinger Zero itself. I'm gonna wager the plot will go like so:
1. Mazinger Z turns into Zero somehow, but Koji manages to escape before that happens.
2. Koji somehow gets Mazinkaiser, while Tetsuya gets Mazin Emperor G.
3. They beat the crap out of Zero with the help of their friends. Zero either gets destroyed or gives up on destroying the world.

It's weird to have Mazinkaiser and Mazinger Zero together in one game. Which is the upgrade? If by sheer power, Zero would be the step up, so is Kaiser a mid season upgrade? It would have made sense if it's Mazinkaiser Skull instead since there would not be much reason to use Kaiser if Zero is there. Unless Zero is just the bad guy or Kaiser morph to Zero. Also it is weird to write Zero when there is like 2 or 3 other things that refer to "zero" in the game.
It's exciting to see Zero and Gurren Lagann together, but I would've wanted the superstars like Getter Emperor, Genesis Gaogaigar and Gunbuster to be in there as well. I even would get a freaking Vita for that line up.
Although, seeing G-reco already suck half the excitement. Ho boy, how are they going to fix that fuck up, I wonder...

Possible. Since if Shin Mazinger turns Zero somehow without a pilot, then Kouji is left robot-less, so Mazinkaiser had to come out.
But stil that left out Kaiser pilot-less when Kouji upgrades to Zero (i doubt Zero is enemy only), which is a minor nitpick for me since Kaiser is quite awesome.
Well, maybe Boss can pilot it and change the name to Boss Borotiser or better yet Tengen Toppa Shin Borotiser.
It would be cool when Minerva X shows up in the game, she references the events in SRW V.

Alpha, and Alpha Gaiden. They had a skit in the save and quit dialogue where Masaki imitated Heero. Also Heero needed to use the zero system to find Masaki when he got lost in Alpha Gaiden.

To say nothing of how many older game it was in. I actually like Gundam Wing, but it is kinda overkill. I think they just include the Wing and 00 movies to pad out the roster really, after all they are short stories with a large number of mechs to use.

5's not that off. It's the same as BX, and more than a lot of games.
It's the same amount we got in BX and in the original Alpha , 1 less than in W and K and 1 more than Alpha 2 and 3. It's pretty standard.
With how many series have been covered already, we shouldn't be expecting the numbers Z or Z2.1 pulled in.
I don't mind the number of debuts so much as I do the number of series that have just recently been in an srw. Like I was stoked when I saw Dunbine in here, but then you lost me when I saw Cross Ange and Daitarn 3 again.
Cross A has only been in one game, so I don't see the problem. D3 is getting overused at this point---unless they actually bring back the story. At least Macross Frontier, Gundam 00 and Seed Destiny are *finally* sitting out a game----though the old filler champion Endless Waltz came back to take their place.
I'm more disappointed they didn't bring back either Neo or New Getter, who haven't been in a game in nearly (or over) a decade. We've been on the Armagedon train long enough, but it seems they've forgotten these two exist.
