You did what Enterprise Support was unable to do, get our corporate Gmail account to work! It's worked all along until yesterday. Two support calls delivered nothing but frustration and lack of ability to send emails. Using code, rather than password fixed the issue. Thank you!

Hello. I'm using QuickBooks desktop 2018 and having hard time to sending invoice to customer. QuickBooks asks me to enter password and it don't work even when I enter correct password. This video shows how to solve issue with Google account, but Google stopped support the use of third-party apps or devices. Could you update how to send invoice without using Google setting video?
Hello, QuickBooks Desktop stopped supporting connected services this year - that may be your problem. Bank feeds, invoicing/emailing through QB, tech support, etc. will no longer work for Desktop 2018 as QB is updating to a subscription for 2022. You might want to contact Intuit to see if this is why it is not working for you. You can continue using the version you have, it will just not support any connected services. ~Kindra/Team Candus

So how do you do it if you are using AOL as it is not listed in the choices. I have used AOL for years and all of a sudden it stopped working. At this time I am using QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2018. All my clients won't recognize my gmail address so need to get AOL email working again.

I followed the steps and worked for me great, (the first time) it's still asking me for a password, will I need to generate a password everytime I try to send an Invoice. I know it said it would save it but mine didn't. Any ideas what I did wrong

Hello,
QuickBooks Desktop stopped supporting connected services this year - that may be your problem. I did everything you suggested and it still came up “Couldn’t connect to Email Server”
Mrs Spitfire, are you using 2019 or newer version of QB? They only support for 3 years for certain features including email, payroll, bank feeds.
My quick books it pro 2018
@Mrs. Spitfire I think your version is considered "sunset". It will still work but the features that use the internet will no longer work.
