Wow. These guys sent EVERYONE to prison. LOL. Finally, characters actually making use of the police instead of just letting ppl run around plotting against you after they kidnap and try to kill you. What a novelty.
I like this ML in general, and here his character as the hidden boss with the ruthless personality who was pretending to be pitiful in front of his wife was amusing to watch. I wish they had handled the whole reveal better on the side of the FL, but at least they didn't do it at the very end of the show.
This is the 3rd time he's played this role that I've seen him in, but I kinda didn't like the 1st show he did several years ago where he hid the fact he was a designated heir as there was a lot of violence and the ML (our hero plays the 2nd ML in the show) is a full-out arse to pretty much everyone. The 2nd show, however, is still 1 of my favourites and I love to pull it out and watch it every so often when there's little else on YT but more crap versions of the same "big brother" shows that are getting very tiresome to watch. I don't know the name of it as my Mandarin reading skills aren't up to par (I can now figure out some words but it's slow going at my age lol) but in the 2nd one he marries a sweet girl named Mumu who originally was a "bride for sale" type thing (basically meaning her family forced her to marry him as they thought he was just a country bumpkin). The truth is far from it though, he has to hide himself due to the fact his uncle and brother tried to kill him so he marries her, but during the course of the show they both fall in love with each other. In the end it all works out, she forgives him and defends him, and everyone ends up happy (he's so adorably loveable and incredibly loyal to her in that show it's impossible not to forgive him honestly :P). Even her mum gets a surprise ending filled with happiness, and the bad guys get their just desserts which is always nice to see.
I just wish I could find out the name of the ML, I've tried for a few years now to find it but the people who gave me possible names for him it turned out not to be him at all. So far of the names given to me 1 was from Korea and 1 from Taiwan so I knew it wasn't him right away, and 2 other names given to me were both A-List actors and when I searched them up although they do resemble the ML somewhat, far as I know he's never starred in any A-List shows, and when I checked the 2 names against their MDL/IMDB info none of the shows they have been in were remotely like the ones I've seen the ML in so that was a dead end. I've even tried to search up D-List actors with wrist tattoos in blue script but nothing comes up (and I can never read what his tat says anyway so it doesn't help at all to find him). So if anyone knows the MLs name please let me know, I'll be forever grateful! :)
Been a long time since I saw this ML in a nice script.
The last show I saw him in was when he switched souls with his wife and finds out how badly she's really been treated by not just him, but by everyone ... so yeah not 1 of my favourites as he's a bit of an arse in that one. It's been a good year or so since he was in the show that he hid his identity as Mr Huo and marries Mumu - that is 1 of my favourites that he's the ML in. Another show that's at the top of my list is one I call "Twilight of the Stars" where he's married at a top CV artist but he's really bad at showing his love for her so she ends up divorcing him as she thinks he doesn't love her (and tried to harm her though it was his mum who was the culprit). In the end it all works out, she realises he did really love her (and she loved him) and that he was actually really good to her but she was too stubborn to see things clearly (mainly as a green tea tries to get in the way as usual :P).
But that show was years ago now, it hasn't been on YT in ages, and the one where he marries Mumu has disappeared now too apparently which is a shame as that was one of my 2nd favs he's done, so this was a refreshing new show of his I enjoyed highly. I don't like the shows where he's mean to the ML though thankfully there's only a few of them, especially as he typically plays the loyal, loving ML who will do anything for the FL. He's just not meant to be mean to FLs ... villains on the other hand get his full wrath and I always enjoy watching him take down the bad guys. :)
翻拍的很不錯，雖然也是短劇套路，下藥，綁架，被刀捅。但至少劇情節奏明快，男女主的演技也很棒！還是值得看看。🙏

I have come up with two possible explanations
1. They do not have enough money for a big cast wardrobe.
2. These dramas are short, so they probably film them within a short period of time, and changing the clothes that often would be a hassle.

The drama is quite interesting, First time to see these actors , but I think its a low budget production , Im not a Despicable person , next time get atleast presentable second female leads , to make the drama more lively 😅😊😊 Its a good story anyways. I like the Male Lead 😊

It's interesting how wardrobes are so limited in these low budget cdramas, yet when there is the inevitable wine spill on the fl's dress, she can find a glamarous dress to change into 😂

The police was hard at work in this drama, every bad guy went to prison😂😂😂love it. Female had 4 out fit 2 for work which she always have on because she always working 2 for the 1 event that happpen. Nice watch
Sadly fan-made shows like this are what they are, they save their budgets for the Maybach rentals and set locations so obviously something has to give way for that and usually it's the clothes. I've seen some shows where the characters literally wore the same outfits throughout the entire show, even in the "ballroom type sets" they still wore the same dresses/suits/clip-ties/etc. As long as the plot is decently good, and the subs aren't complete trash, and there's no AI Bot at the start I can ignore the clothes, for me it's never a make or break thing vs the rest.

FL did not do this one justice. Either it was the actress herself or the role. I just did not care for her in this one.
