A tip my mumma taught me is “harmony in threes” - chose 3 different sized decor items and place them kinda in a triangle with the tallest at the back. :) ❤️❤️

it is really satisfying to watch her. not because of all the cool aesthetic stuff you get to see in her videos, the Ny ones specially. But to see someone live their best life and to see them work hard for it. I am sure she goes through hard stuff too sometimes and we don't see every single thing on camera but it just makes me happy to watch her happy and healthy. i know moving out isn't possible for me so watching her do that is really satisfying

As a cleaner I can say deep cleaning once a month for someone who is by themselves majority of the time is completely fine! Don't stress trying to do it every week.

I just started watching you this week and caught up with your moving vlog. I'm 26 and i know exactly what u mean when you say about finding a place that is home even though it doesn't have much. I was depressed and in bad spot in 2018. I literally lived in this basement apartment w no light, in an abusive relationship. I now worked my ass off to be in the place I'm at. I have a corner townhouse with a bunch of windows and sun every day. I feel at peace finally and work hard to never feel like I did back in the day. It's only up from here, especially bc you are so young and have so much to experience. The best advise that I can give is to live in the moment fr, once you are content and at peace in the moment everything that u ever wished for will come naturally!

The fact that she is spending less on food (while still spending 6$ a day for coffee) is not a parameter for her money management and I hope you don't take her as an example...
and with that I don't mean that she didn't work hard for what she has! she surely works hard and I can see it in every video she makes and the amount of editing she does...but still, I think she needs to educate herself more on finance and how to make a good use of the money she has (having a long term mindset)

So many people in the comments find her to be related for how "grounded" she is (sorry if it's not the correct word, English is not my first language, but I mean like "down to earth"). I'm not a hater or anything, I like her vibe and how she shares her life, but I also think that her lifestyle is not relatable to the majority of her audience. I don't think most of us can rent a $ 7/8k flat in New York lol, I personally believe that's a waste of money and she could be much more conscious and invest for her future :)

Random thought: Have you ever had an electric grill? It’s honestly life changing. I cook all of my protein on it, no grease, no smoke, no oil and it’s super fast and easy to clean. Food tastes better, and you can get a good grill for an okay price. Best investment I’ve made for my kitchen
Hi Mai! For the tree stumps, i’d recommend that you put two on one side (one big and one small), and then one on the other side of the couch. Also, put the small stump in front of the bigger one for more dimension and interest! Love the place. 🤎

hi mai i don't know if you'll ever read this, but I admire how New York has given you so much peace and a safe place to call home. my whole 21 years I've never really felt safe in my home or felt like my home was a home. I moved out of my hometown a year ago to live with my mom, I got my own room and new space, but after a year of living here, it doesn't feel like home at all. I miss my hometown, but the household was not healthy for me. this new town, it's a struggle because I have so much alone time, and there isn't much around to explore. literally the country. my mental health be struggling out here but I cannot afford to move again. I strive to feel at home one day like you do in New York.
