You're seriously underestimating how hard acting is. There's mountains of lines to learn, and often there will be daily re-writes and you have to learn stuff on the spot, There's also character research, prep work, gym training, not to mention the hours of waiting around for the set to be dressed and then at a moments notice you may have to go in to a deeply emotional performance which requires tears on command and that's done by bringing up a painful real life memory. Times that by multiple takes and it can be emotionally and physically exhausting. Also, I'm not sure where you got the 3 hours thing from. Most shoots are 12+ hours, often starting in the middle of the night.
