I just lost my Bindy of 13 years. Man, no matter how you think you prepare yourself.....but you just have to keep reminding yourself what an amazing life you gave them. Their belly's were always full, took endless adventures and gave them endless love ❤.
I used to go to Utah when I was a truck driver. With a big highway rig, there was no offroad adventure. I did get in a few very short hikes and explored some small towns. Got to see Edge of the Cedars State Park. I was able to park overnight right by the museum building and see it all the next day.
Another epic video with outstanding production work. It's always a joy watching your adventures. Thank you for the inspiration and encouragement to get out and explore. You're an excellent docent to the outdoors. 👊🏽☺️
Awesome video Tyler! Thinking about your Coleman oven, I hacked together a cover from a welding blanket and the oven works so much better - heats fast and stays at temp. Also have a small stone in the oven that helps prevent burning on the bottom
Love st gorge amazing area and fantastic video glad to see another video out on the trails and finding lizards. Just off roaded in Colorado for the first time some simple stuff in the San Juan’s behind Creede amazing area definitely more challenging then was thinking.
Just saw this video. It is hands down the best I've seen and I've seen hundreds. I can't believe how much we have in common, from FJs to where and when and with whom to camp. Thanks!
Hey you’re pretty cool in my book! Haha. I did acquire a new truck for the channel, but I still have the Fj and I have more adventures from 2024 I am currently editing. Thanks for stopping by! 🙏
Chuckwallas are all over AZ. I see them frequently. I've even had one in my backyard before, along with two bearded dragons. Nice channel man. Subscribed! I can tell you put a lot of work into your videos and I appreciate that
Fricken awesome man - spent some time around St George - big storm came in - took refuge in a ghost town church. Lots of instant streams from the deluge - got rescued by a farmer and his tractor. Those are memories worth it. Hey im looking for cargo pants - like them tan ones and a pair of boots like yours with rubber on the tips - look way comfortable.
That’s a pretty cool memory to have! I could see that place flooding fast in a downpour! Everyone thinks it’s the “overlander” outfit but I argue it’s the ultimate camera guy outfit! Big pockets are awesome for camera work. Crispi boots are Italian made, and can be resoled. Discovered this brand from hunting brands. Just don’t buy their more hiker focused ones because they are stiff like a snowboard boot and hard to drive in. Great for mountaineering though! My Boots: bit.ly/3bL1CMP Fjallraven is the pant brand. They have various types. Some stretch, some don’t. They are expensive but I’m hard on clothes and my $100 pants kept ripping on me. Fjallraven have proven to be very durable. bit.ly/43uYY44
@@IndependenceOverland Hey man - thanks much - appreciated. And truly appreciate your work too and energy you put into your commentary and production - !st class
As the opener states, I release these as episodes at first because I can only edit so fast. And then I re-release them as a full length video because RUclips often doesn’t show my subscribers that new videos are out. This gives people a chance to see the whole series in its entirety, and gives me a break for a week or two on releasing another video.
Ahhh man! I can’t take any more time off from work this year, or I would be all over it. Thank you for the update. What are the temperatures there right now? I assume since it’s starting to cool down, this is perhaps the sweet spot when it’s not too hot and not too cold for them.
Great, well made and informative video but the volume of the music is too loud. I am an old fart and have poor hearing, the music makes it difficult for me to hear what you are saying. Can these videos be made with music only when there is no voice? It would be greatly appreciated by us old folk! Keep the good work going! Gaston

What a cool find and great adventure! I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing.
That second spot was perfect. Once I get the TH, I plan to head down to St. George and Moab for some golf, camping and exploring. Great video!
Awesome video man, I love the long format videos.
"There's much more to Utah than Moab" hits the nail on the head!

My sisters lives in Saint George, so I’ve been spending a lot of time there since 2015 and have been exploring all over.
Wow what a cool adventure! Idk what was better the views or the sighting of the different creatures you seen. Such a cool video!

Makes me want an Fj cruiser again. Such a good vehicle 😊
I just watched this series last week again (I’ve watched em twice lol). Some great vids👍🙌.
I’ve seen a few Gila monsters in AZ. Nice rig. Subbed.
That’s awesome! Thank you!

I've seen dozens on South Mountain in Phoenix. Not hard at all to come across or spot depending on the time of year.

Another awesome video Tyler! With your FJ loaded out, what setting on your KING reservoirs do you run on the road? Off road?
Thanks man!
I always just fully tighten the kings for on road, and fully back them off for off road and it works great.
🥜🧈🥃 Cheers!
They are all over in AZ right down in the city Camelback Mt,and Squaw peak both have them.Just a heads up

Arggh just heard theres also recall on Toyota newer V6s engines too - I think affecting Tacoma's too
Except for the fact that the tacomas are now 4cylinders.
The iforce in the Tacoma is not the same as the tundra. These haven't yet had the same issues as the tundras
Yah the stuff i watched was 6 bangers not the 4 - sorry - ihad watched the mechanic whom was referring only to the 6 cyl.
@@jeremiahpersinger3771 Yes corrected. Theyre all 4s now it looks like
Yes affecting ONLY the 6 cyl not the 4 and looks like only 4 is offered now in Tacomas
Don't you know St George was affected by nuclear bomb test fallout? You need to watch the film "Downwind".
leather boots for snakes...lmao. bring a hiking poles. I have moved hundreds of stubborn rattelsnakes in colorado.
Peanut butter whiskey? That's another term for "violent emetic."
😂
I mostly drink bourbon dont worry!
Brave lizard defending his woman from Goliath.
